Any thoughts on this list? I am a new player to 40k and havent bought the models yet. This will be my first army. I am thinking this is an expansion of the combat patrol box. We are playing crusade 50 PL so wargear is free. Not really clear how many WL traits and relics we will get to add so I might have to take some of those out.

Only Named Characters get WLTs free, so you’d have to purchase the relics/WLTs for models in your roster with requisition pts. You start with 5 and gain 1 per battle, but there is a lot more than relics and WLTs that you can buy.

Also, you normally build a 50 PL Order of Battle from which you make lists for 25 PL missions when starting off for Crusade. Maybe your group is doing it differently, but I would clarify with them.

Edit: There is also a bunch more you can do with requisitions than just buying the plain codex relics/wlts. An example: with 4 RP you can have a neurothrope that knows 4 powers, has 4 casts, and tests of 8+ cant be denied.
