Hello again!

Now that the dust is starting to settle I'm remaking this 500pt army list thread.

Feel free to share your nastiest or most enjoyed builds, post nerfs! 500pts max!


If anyone wonders why im persisting with this; my local LGS owner is hosting a special 'beer and diaper' 40k tournament for me in 2 weeks, to celebrate my first child (due in 5 weeks). We are taking over the whole store to play various games, including 500pt patrol battles of 40k!

I ran this against Death Guard and did a tonne of damage, casual game. Tervigon ate a squad of pox walkers early on and had a boatload of attacks for the rest of the game.

Sadly my Screamer Killer got one-shot turn 1 by his Plagueburst Crawler tank and I lost overall on points.

Ran this against blood angels, he had mephiston, two small squads of sanguinary guard, some intercessors.

He got unlucky with rolls and my foot Tyrant massacred most of his jump marines. Shardgullet is obscenely deadly! He conceded.

I'm conflicted on whether I should take the solo Screamer, three zoans or something else.

If you're taking Tervi go Kronos for Symbiostorm and extra range and just max out on Termas. You'll fit 40 of them.

I was leaning heavily towards Leviathan because I'm fearful of not being survivable, but Kronos does indeed look great.

Even with my existing list I can combo Symbiostorm and Scorchbugs to get +10 range, str 7 ap-2 shots with the termagants. Can also tee up a tasty shard lure to get an easy charge with Mama or Dadfex.
