Hi everyone,
I am returning to my W40k collection thanks to my friends, who started several armies by now and want to face as many factions as possible. Luckily for them I can field a huge chunk of Nids and also nice balanced armies for Space Marines and Dark Eldar.
I also have some GSC stuff but only played them a few times back in 7th and have no idea how to build them now with what I have in my collection. Maybe you can help me with some advise?
I basically have everything from Deathwatch Overkill and 40 Genestealers in my nid boxes, no vehicles or bikes and none of the new characters, but lots of Chaos cultists from various starter boxes and Blackstone Fortress. I love to do conversions for single models, so if there is any specific character I really need to play I am sure I can do something about it. Plus I have one Leman Russ for a brood brothers detachment.
I don't want to buy anything new yet before I had some games to see if they are still fun for me.
So what would you build for a balanced game with a collection like this?
Magus, Primus, several Broodlords
20 Acolytes
18 Neophytes, 2 lascannons, 2 grenade launchers
27 chaos cultists, 3 flamers
40 genestealers
4 Aberrants
1 Leman Russ
