Mawloc and Predator instincts

Let me know if this one has already been thought of but it's only just occurred to me. A mawloc can come up using terror from the deep anywhere outside of engagement range as long as it is within 6" of the token from the turn before. if i give him predator instincts however i'm guessing that there is nothing stopping him from heroic intervening into something within 6" at the end of the charge phase? A bit niche but could potentially tie up some back line stuff, snipe a character or at least act as a distraction carnifex. Combined with territorial instincts and you may even be able to nick objectives.

Like i say, i'm sure i'm not the first one to come up with this but has anyone tried it out in practice?

Other than you cant HI on your own turn, its a doable thing.

You can put it on the harpies and hive crones to help them turn. Although you can't fight.

They're already crazy maneuverable; I think you're better off boosting their durability or giving them synapse.

I wouldn't discount Predator Instinct for a Mawloc though; if you don't feel like gambling on a charge it can be a pretty effective threat/distraction, forcing the opponent to either focus fire on a 125pts distraction, withdraw from the objective, or potentially lose their unit to a bucket of dice and combat attrition.
