Trends in competative GSC?

I did a quick glance in BCP over GSC results in the last weeks. It seems like the list doing best results are Twisted Helix. Lots of stealers, often 2 Patriarchs. There are some indsutrial affinity based as well doing ok. I am interseted to see if this will stick. hopefully we sill get more accurate info when stats centre can get som more data in and also when people have had chance to try different builds. I beleive there are solid builds in PP meleefocused, in Hivecult-action/shooting/boardcontrol focused, in 4AE-boardcontrol-deny focused and even more versions. 
But the TH is a strong one. Stealers are good in all creeds but TH makes them shine. +1 s and +1 move is just so good with them.

I agree. Twisted helix seems to be the go to. Getting stealers to strength 5 is huge. The wounds fail on 1-2s are really good for infantry swarms as well.

Any thoughts for bladed cog builds? I've got quite a few kitbashes that would love to see the table.

BC mostly vehicles tbh.

I don't think TH will stay very long when Tau really takes off. SMS and AFB volume just screws PGS, devilfishes screw PGS, breachers screw PGS - basically everything Mainstay will kill them deader than dead.

TH is a bit more loaded than its peers though. +1M, mini-trans, AND +1S.

I expect builds leveraging more Xfire Xposed to take point in the long term, since its volume and good profile and consistent, non-mitigateable damage. You never need to fear getting tanglefooted or move 6" when charged screwing your main damage.

I think even if one of the other creeds is more competitive, Twisted Helix will jump out as a front runner due to its ease of play. You don't have to worry about crossfire, auras, or stratagems nearly as much with TH. You just have built-in strong profiles.

I'm hoping that people find good play with Rusted Claw and Hive Cult and such. It would be a shame if all these cool rules go to waste just because TH Purestrains exist.

What were some of the events where you got this data. I'd like to go take a deeper look at them and see the pairings/lists those GSC lists went up against

oh, i just browswed BCP and searched for GSC lists globally. But there was one doning well at beachen brallor this weekend for example.

Quite a wide spread if the discord is right. Tau, Custodes, DG, Forces of the Hibe Mind, and DE are amongst the matchups.

Am I the only one that even likes Hive cult?

Im also a HUUUGE fan of 8shotguns and 2 flamers x2 for crossfire mayhem though, and Im not what you would call a "tournament" guy

I'm not going to play Hivecult anytime soon but my last game I was constantly thinking "sure wish I could action and shoot...".

No, I think there are som HC fans out there. I believe there is good builds there too. Actions and boardpresence, secondaries are huge now.

Have we seen any GCS tournament wins yet. I know there was a win just before LVO with a TH list, but apart  from that?
Often when a new codex comes out, all the hotshots run towrds it and wins a few tournamnts before anyone figures out whats going on and the FAQ sort things out. This just happened with Tau for example. I have not seen it with GSC, and I fear our codex, despite the great job they have done with internal ballance and funny tricks, not is a torunamentwinning codex. With Custodes and now Tau and soon Eldar coming do you think we will see any wins in bigger tournaments?

I think we will be buried by power creep from Tau and Eldar. I hope we settle as an A-tier army so we can avoid nerfs.
