Keller bullet quickswitch question

If you use the normal Liberator autostubs to produce 6 attacks, with your following extra attacks can you quickswitch to the wyrmtooth rounds and fire off 6 shots with them due to having 6 extra shots from his normal rounds?

No. Eventhough it fluffwise is the same weapon. The wymtooth becomes a new weapon and replaceces the libertor. And his gunslinger rule says ”using the same weapon”.

Thats my thoughts in the matter.

i dont think so, cause the wyrmrounds say till they are resolved... and when u score extra hits, its still in the to hit part of shooting.

That's not even close to correct, it doesn't replace the guns whatsoever, you shoot with the same gun, that then doesn't have the abilities and replaces its profile with the one stated in the relics section, this has to do with the mechanics of the shooting phase.

"each time the bearer shoots" you can change the profile for any of his 3 guns to the wyrm round and that gun stays wyrm round until the shooting resolves.

The question is when 'each time the bearer shoots' triggers.
If it is each time you make an attack then you could in theory switch midway through. If its when you select a model to shoot with then it doesn't work.

I personally see it as you cant just fire 6 extra wrymtooth rounds, but I keep seeing people saying its all gravy, probably needs an FAQ but idk

I would shy away from doing this unless an FAQ clearly stated you can. It feels more like an exploit than a genuine tactic.

Weapon profile is chosen prior to selecting targets for every other weapon with a choice of different rounds/firing modes, so swapping profile mid-shooting after target selection doesn't seem in-line with other rules.
