I believe it was scheduled for Dec 18, so a couple days ago. Some FLGS are having difficulty getting it in I hear.

Yeah I haven't been able to find a copy locally yet. I have a friend who has a couple reserved at one store but they haven't got it in yet. Had me confused on exact release date

One of the first things Matt asks if if spawned Termies or Spore mines get that 5++. The exact thing the thread is arguing about. XD

I asked him a little into the game and he sees it as raw, but not exactly intended . its pretty nuts though

My overall vote is summoned units do get the army rules. So gaunts from a Terv would get the 5++, because they would be units in your army, right? But they do not get detachment rules, like obsec.

Oh, we can use OOE or Swarmy in the Stampede list?

This seems to be right with RAW.

On that note, I don't know that spawned termmies with a 5++ are really that game breaking. Tervigons are overpriced for what they bring to the table and you have to leave points aside to spawn the little guys. Do you leave out 50? or 100? and what happens when the Tervigon gets spanked turn 1 before you can do anything. I get the whole "she isn't a valuable target so let them kill her..." argument, but as soon as she/he/they are worth 300+ points it is worth taking it out

But now we have more benefits if we wanted to bring tervigon to buff HG with the link. Maaaaaybe....

Not in a Crusher list, but yes Tervigon might work in a Termagant list with HG to be buffed. What's worth giving up is a big problem, and extremely honestly - we give up too much for No Prisoners as is, a Termagant carpet list would give auto max.
