Tfex w/ rupture: bio weapon bond or focal essence?

Im thinking about busting out this bad boy (tfex with rupture) and focal essence with the maleceptor. Yes it is a lot of points (cheaper than Harridan) but it sort of helps us where we struggle.

Is it worth it? 6 shots on 4's, wounding likely on 3's if you're picking the right targets. So say 2 wounds with ap-4 and damage reroll? Could be big. Especially with maleceptor -1 strength strat.

Also, for much cheaper, bioweapon bond hitting on 3's, wounding on 3's isn't too bad.

Here is the average damage of a Rupture Cannon Tyrannofex versus various targets:



+1 to hit is better against each of these. The reason for this is that +1 hit hit is a 4 hits/3 hits = 1.33 factor increase in damage, while the average damage of 1d6 reroll is 4.25, and this is an 4.25/3.5 = 1.21 factor increase in damage.

+1 hit 1cp +1 wound, 1cp tesla if levi or simbiostorm

Or pop the 6+ to wound does a mortal. You can also pop +1 damage for another 2 CP
