I had a game against a friend's iron warriors yesterday. I decided to bring a tervigon in a leviathan detachment backed up with big monsters.
My friend brought a bunch of dreadnoughts, a couple of rinos, and a predator backed up by support characters and a lord discordant.
We ended up playing a kill fest as we were a bit short on time. He won the rolloff and went first.
Long story short, I ended up burning through all my CP turn 1. My list ended up slowly crumpling and I wasn't managing to do enough damage to take down his vehicles, so we called it turn 3.. Line of sight blocking terrain meant that I was having to split up what my big bugs were targeting so I wasn't able to focus fire much.
Burning through all my CP meant that I didn't have enough for encephalic diffusion, which had negated tons of damage turn 1.
All in all, I think that leviathan is better suited to hordes rather than big bugs. If I was going to try a similar list, I'd retry it with jormungandr or a custom fleet instead.
