I like them and they serve as a good base for more refined items. I suggest that you add more texture and don't be afraid to add some corners and "harder" shapes. From what I can see for now their form is more organic and if they are manmade, that should not be the case. If they are natural, that's fine.

These ones are Tyranid barricades made of repurposed biomass, plus a little turret. It's got teeth. Because it's a tyranid. More Terrain Pieces
