Custodes shield capitan model q

The box art for shield capitan and shield capitan on dawn eagle jetbikes both match that of their respective units.
Are the models the same?
Is it worth it to buy the shield capitan separately​?

If I recall, they're built the same. GW just asks for the head to be without a helmet due to them being the hero. I'd recommend just having some way to distinguish them. As for is it worth to buy them? Depends upon the price

You can build a shield captain of some sort out of any of the plastic custodes squad boxes.

The regular custodian guard box can make a shield captain with either a spear, or sword/shield.
Wardens box can make a shield captain with either a spear or an axe.
Terminator box can make a terminator captain.
Bike box can make a bike captain.

Except for the bikes, all these kits come with some extra parts to represent the captain, like a fancy cape, or some extra gaudy pauldrons. The bike kit just uses a head swap though, so often people stick a spare cape or something from another kit onto the model to make it look a bit fancier.
