New player, help needed to create a 500 pts list

Hi everyone, Im going to start playing 40k with some friends and we said to start with lists of 500 points, but I have no idea what to use 🤣, I would be very grateful if you gave me a hand with the list.
These are the models that I have:
1 hive tyrant
1 tiranofex
2 carnifex
2 trygon
1 figure from another game that I can use as a monster
1 broodlord
2 hive guard
8 genestealers
10 gargoyles
12 termagants
12 hormagants
3 ripper swarm

We are not going to play in a competitive way so I can use some models as others (hive tyrant as a swarmlord for example)

If there is a unit that i dont have and I must use, please tell me!
Tactics and advices are very helpful too 😁.

I think that the combination of Hive Tyrant & Tyrannofex OR Broodlord & Tyrannofex is a good foundation for 500 pts. Res Barb relic on either HQ is phenomenal, rest of the relics are meh at 500 pts. Psychic Scream is a strong power in low pts games, and Catalyst is always good. From there, just add troop units until 500 pts to make a list that is reasonably capable and can participate in all phases.

I recently had a fun 500pts match with a re-roll focused Tyrant as the core strategy. Tyrant w/ wings, MRC, Res Barb, Murderous Size, HVC, AG, TS. Took custom fleet to re-roll 1 power per turn and 1 failed hit in shooting/melee. Absolute wrecking ball at 500pts, and essentially gave me ~6 "free" CP over the course of the match.

You could try this list it's not the most optimal but it will do stuff on all the phases (command phase aside) dont try to use the troops for kills and go for objectives or deny objectives, mawloc can deal some damage to clusters and at this point level if you drop him not near any close quarter monster he will survive for a powerfull charge. Winged hive tyrant is your board control here, use him to deal damage with cannons and powers and move in for the kill when you think he can survive the return fire, he is quite mobile so make best  use of that mobility. Also dont panic if tour troops die. You have 2 starting CP, your to go estratagems are metabolic overdrive, oportunitics advance, to get your troops into position and unexpected incursion on your maloc

Makes gaunts hard to shift from objectives by granting them a 4+ save in the open, gives your monsters 2+ save until they charge, when they do they will make them pay, other than the Tyrannofex, but he just spits acid from his goo cannon at things until he or they die.

as a side note if you dont need the carnifexs hitting power or it probably wont survive to make it, give dermic to your Tyrannofex and he will spray all day
