Well hive mind I call on you all again, I have a 100% record with your assists thus far so will be most obliged to here your thoughts for a 1,000 point nid army for an objectives game and fighting druhkari and thousand sons.
I have a 12k nid army so all options valid also running as Jormungandr because I love them little borrowing squirrels

You put 'swarm' in the title but don't mention it in your post. Do you want a 'swarm' list or just any list that will work against druhkari and thousand sons?

A nice all-round list to take on thousand sons and druhkari all swarms in my eyes 🤣

I hope this doesn't come across as mean, and I might be ignorant asking; but I was wondering after having 12k points of nids, don't you have a general go to list already at the 1k points level? At the 1k point level I'm always generally falling back to using warriors and either hive guards + neurothrope or exocrine + tyrant support

You may find it funny but I have never played a 1k game....it's always been 1.6k, 5k and even 10k. First 1k outing and first 3 way battle so I'd like some thoughts I have a good idea but it's always good to get some other hive minds feedback

Oh wow! That's serious jumping in hahaha I played many a 500-1000 point games before I even tried a 1500-2000 one! That's serious dedication tbh. So far this is my most used 1k list that I tweak a little here and there to include monsters I want to test out.
Fleet: jormungandr Hive tyrant Hive tyrant/Neurothrope + prime
3x rippers 9x warriors - physiology 9x warriors - physiology
Lictor
Then depending on whether I want to bring firing support, I'd drop the 2nd tyrant or prime and bring stock warriors to fit guards or exocrine.
Eg Tyrant Neuro
2x 9x warriors + physiology 3x ripper
Lictor
2x exocrine
Doesn't kill a lot, but having a bunch of T7 4++, t8 2+ stuff to be out there to let them split fire really lets you hold Objective decently well. At least for me so far

3 way games are silly. You lose if you get ganged up on or are melee focused. Just take Hive Guard, Exocrine and Warriors. Let them fight it out while you sit back and shoot whatever you want. Most 3 way games at this size end when someone is tabled since there's no '3 way' missions you can score on.

Most 3 way games at this size end when someone is tabled since there's no '3 way' missions you can score on. Some one posted about a 3-person FFA match they did earlier in the year. They found a good method to keep the gang-up from happening where they only scored VP's by attacking the person to the left. I think it was some combination of WL kill, WWSWF, and some house-ruled Reverse WWSWF (so you had to kill big 3 for vps). From what I remember, they described the game as very tactical, evenly matched, and fun for all 3 involved.

3 way game will not be a gang up and will be plenty of fun. There are ways you can target and split armies etc so not fussed about that. I will stick with a nice balanced army I think flyrant, hive guards, zoanthropes as a counter to the thousand sons phycic prowess, some warriors and some gribbles. I like the idea of running rippers but think they will get torn up by the druhkari. Sitting back and hoping the the druhkari and chaos wipe themselves out will never come to fruition so better off going and and taking the objectives was considering plinking a carnifax on one but points won't stretch.

Can't resist this as I've finally reached the 1000pt fully painted mark (sorry for anyone that's seen this in the painting forum already!) Not competitive, efficient (or even much of a swarm to be honest!) but fits the 'rule of cool' generalised list. Hive Fleet Kraken
1 Battalion with Warlord -0 CP Progeny of the Hive Mind -1 CP Bounty of the Hive Fleet -1CP 1 Tervigon (Warlord, Stinger Salvo, Massive Scything Talons, Relic = Chameleonic Mutation, Adaptive Physiology = Dermic Symbiosis, Warlord Trait = None - (2nd Adaptive Physiology), Psychic Powers = Smite + Catalyst) 30 Termagants (18 Fleshborers, 12 Devourers, Adaptive Physiology = Enhanced Resistance) 1 Broodlord (Monstrous Rending Claws, Relic - Resonance Barb, Psychic Powers = Smite + Onslaught) 12 Genestealers (Rending Claws / Scything Talons) 3 Ripper Swarms 1 Carnifex (Spore Cysts, Enhanced Senses, x2 Deathspitters with Slimmer Maggots, Heavy Venom Cannon) 1 Screamer Killer (Spore Cysts, x2 Monstrous Scything Talons, Bio-plasmic Scream)

Yeah, I know, but my meta has a lot of psykers and Daemons, so wanted to see how it worked out with Soul Hunger and the Balethorn Cannon. Both Exocrines with Dermic Symbiosis and Resonance Barb on the Neurothrope is the more allround list, I agree. Could also split the big Warrior group in two and add a third Ripper Swarm and a Lictor instead of the small Warrior group.

Resonance Barb on the Tyrant is probably better, maximizes total psychic ability. Neuro has good enough base chance to get symbio off that spreading the love doesn't detract too much. Catalyst is usually a more important spell to get off because of how it improves ability to score primaries. Tyrant tossing 2d3 (poss 1d6+1d3) MW's and Catalyzing the Enhanced Warriors is a very strong play.
