1st Try Tyranids list

Hii brothers cockroachers,after years and years spent in the warp,i fall in love with the great devourer.

My idea is for first learn the all tools tips of my new race before go into a "super competitive" setup list,
1)reading around i have seen that many use double fleet in the comp of the list (never met a tyranid players in game so that's why i asked) why ?

2) im a melee player, so idk if that's possible actually with tyr atm.
3)Also what are the primary purchases to do for a "melee" tyr player? Brood Swarm box set( my shop still  have 1  ) or start collect set are ok fr 1st purchases?

1. A Kronos shooting component (hive guard+exos in some combination) is very strong, either as the backbone of your force, or an addition to something else. But you can't use those shooting elements as the entirety of your list, and 2 CP to give a relevant fleet to the rest of your army is good.
2. ...Yes and no. Yes it's totally possible. But our melee is mostly bad outside of FW, so...yeah. Flyrants are pretty reasonable, as is Swarmy. Warriors with boneswords aren't amazing melee, but they're quite solid units just due to being reasonably cheap wound blocks which can still punch fine. Stealers aren't good, but are probably usable.
3. FW . Depends how 'all in' you want to be: not picking up any shooting, you'll struggle. Start collecting's a maybe: trygon's not good, stealers aren't great, but you'll probably want at least one broodlord and for starting out, it's not bad value. Grab some flyrants and Swarmy. Don't go all in on the stealers (TS is way too expensive for what's already a glass cannon unit), probably only a single unit at most? Rest of your melee as warriors and horms probably? Dunno.

Alternatively get a dima and some scythed hierodules, flyrants/Swarmlord/warriors/horms for the rest. Cut the meh stuff for Kronos exo/hive guard if you're not too invested in pure melee.

Thx for the advice,well tbh i dont want buy from FW right now (just started with the faction ) but will keep in mind for future purchases.
I like zoa models maybe is still possible insert them into kronos fleet?
Better use kraken battalion + patrol Kronos or battalion kronos + patrol kraken?
I know trygon is pretty meh but i like so much the models maybe with new codex they will give a buff to her (i hope).

Kronos is best as a patrol: you don't care about HQs, troops, 1 elite for single hive guard and you'd generally want max 2 exos anyway. Don't want anything more, so just put them in the fleet where they'll work. The 'norm' list at competitive levels is 1 hive guard, 1 exo, double dima+Swarmlord, then scoring/screening to tase, sometimes with 2nd exo/FW MC. You could probably do something similar with flyrants with size instead of dima, then melee warriors/horms and chuck in a trygon/stealers if you really want.

Zoans can go wherever, the only fleet they want to be in is Leviathan, but if you're running Kronos+Kraken, you'll want them with neuro more than getting 3d6 advance (which is a fine buff for them, but not anything worth going out of your way for).

A few minor tweaks, the second set of claws on your flying hive tyrant add no benefit to him besides being free. it's generally worth finding the points to upgrade that second set to a pair of guns. Wings, claws and devourers are a pretty standard load out. if you want pure combat, pay the points to make him all scything talons for the extra attack and reroll ones to hit.

I'd change the tyrant guard to Hive guard if you haven't built them already. I realize you probably want to protect Swarmlord but the hive guard will be of better use to you in the long run.
Don't forget the brood lord gets a hive mind power as well. I'd give him paroxysm and replace swarmlord's with onslaught. Onslaught is a great power to utilize in a kraken list.

As others have mentioned, Genestealers are in a bad place right now where they are generally too many points for what they do. I'd drop the second squad in half to find the points for the above changes. Preferable drop them entirely down the road but if this is what you are starting with then we'll work with what you have.

You might be tempted to bring the tyrgons up from tunnels with this but I think your list would do better off having them all start on the table. First turn you are rushing the enemy with 20 stealers, a brood lord, a flying hive tyrant, and two trygons. I wouldn't bother trying to put all your eggs in one basket by rushing one unit to charge turn one. Instead spread out your movement to have all of those units lined up to charge turn two. Swarmlord double move one unit, Kraken double advance the genestealers or broodlord, metabolic overdrive another unit to keep the pressure there. The small unit of genestealers and the hormaguants can run and grab objectives as needed, or get in the way to stop the enemy from moving/getting to your important units. The Hiveguard shoot really well and will help kill far away targets.

Kilmor : atm i dont have any miniatures (waiting tips for veterans tyr players before start buy sets and start building,especially for weapons settings) hive guard are better ok!

SO here the list with ur advice guys,tell me if its a little be better or not..also if still need have modifications (idk if its ok give guard impaler cannon,weapon profile its cool).
