The Return of Hive Fleet Ariagnee

Ok Hive Mind, with lockdown looking like it will be lifted soon in the UK, I’d like to get back into playing some games again.

My main opponents are Ultramarines, Eldar, Necrons and Death Guard.

I’ve decided to go all in on a Kronos force, I just think that the added benefits from Kronos are great.

I know I could mix Hive Fleets but I like to keep things simple.

Also I want this to be an all comers list.

So what does the Hive Mind think?

Swarmy seems lack luster here. He is only ever going to sling the hormas and himself. Every other target has to sacrafice thier shooting.

You could exchange him for a walkrant with cannon and probably squeeze a warrior prime in too.

The tfex i would personally run with the flamer weapon but with the rereolls of 1 maybe a ruptor cannon would be fine. Let me know how it goes after useing it a couple times.

I think swarmy is a good take because movement is just so important.
One thing i would highly recommend is to switch the gants to be pure fb and or devs then reserve the devs. It won't be hard for your opponents to wipe a squad if it gets into range. You could think of swapping the rippers for another lictor then you have the option to use pheromone trail to place them better.
Finally i feel you have lot of units that want to stay in your deployment. Maybe you could switch one warrior squad to melee only and add more hormagants.

I think you’re right and that I needed some more melee options.

So which list do you guys prefer?

You have synapse everywhere, save a CP and drop the Norn crown. Spend it on extra physiology instead for enhanced resistance hive guard or dermic symbiosis fex/exo. I’d probably to 10+15 horms, no use exposing both units to blast with that little upside

Yes, i feel this will work better. The one change of make is the hormagants to one squad of 10 and one squad of 15 that way only one is open to max shots for blast weapons. As mentioned above.
