Going for a more horde approach-2000 points

I’ve now been beaten a few times by more horde-style armies and recognize their power in denying your opponent from scoring a number of secondaries and doing movement shenanigans. So here is a bare-bones list and some questions:

Hive Fleet Not-Sure-Yet:

—Neurothrope-Resonance barb (maybe)
—Swarmlord

—Hormogaunts—10 models
—Termagaunts—28 models
—Termagaunts—28 models
—Termagaunts—29 models
—Warriors—9 models with deathspitters, lw/bs

—Hive guard—6 models with impaler cannons
—Lictor

—Dimachaeron

—Exocrine
—Exocrine

So question 1–What hive fleet? Leviathan gives lots of FNP, custom fleet gives the gaunts 6++, Kronos give even better shooting......I’m really not sure. Combination of two patrols?

Question 2–Swarmlord/dimachaeron or no? It’s hard to win without some sort of melee, but that’s also 500 points I could spend elsewhere.

Question3–Too few gaunts, many many gaunts, or just right?

Re: question 1, I would split this into two detachments, though it might need some tweaking. The exocrines and hive guard really want Kronos (with a symbiostorm neurothrope), and you may want something more durable for the rest of he army.

Question 1 - Imo Kronos patrol of neurothrope with symbiostorm a ripper swarm/other troop 6xhive guard 2xexocrine, is kinda iconic autoinclude in 2k lists at this point so maybe go with that after shuffling some points to have a neurothrope, whats left probably kraken or custom of 6++ gants with smth

Question 2 - in previous edition there was the slingshot of genestealers and SL, currently there is a sniper rifle, or a catapult, of Dima and SL, only played it once tho so idk
