The creation of this roster was inspired when I was making salad the other day. Much like when you make the salad you shred the greens and cover them in olive oil, this roster covers the enemy in pyrovore bile acids and then proceeds to shred it with boneswords. Although to be honest, I just tried to max out the number of t4 +4 wounds
Kraken Brigade:
Neurothrope - Synaptic lure, Resonance barb 95
Tyranid Prime - Adrenal glands, boneswords, flesh hooks, scytals, warlord: one step ahead 82
Tyranid Prime - Adrenal glands, boneswords, scytals, 79
12X Tyranid warrior squads - 3 warriors each - adrenal glands, boneswords, scythals 900
8X individual Pyrovores 224
2X individual Mucolid Spores 44
3 Raveners 66
3 individual Biovores 150
Kraken Patrol:
Tyranid Prime - Adrenal glands, boneswords, scytals, 79
3X Tyranid warrior squads - 3 warriors each - adrenal glands, boneswords, scythals 225
2X individual Pyrovores 56
Total 2000 pts
How do you think such list would fare in a semi-competitive setting? One of the possible tricks is to continuously fall back from compat to let the pyrovores shoot, and then charge the enemy again. Also, synaptic lure is pretty much the only useful cast in such list, besides possibly psychic scream and horror. and the warlord trait was chosen the only useful one, and the only possible useful adaptive physiology that I see is the heroic intervention for raveners.
Ranged weaponry on warriors is ommited because I consider paying 6 pts for a 1 str 5 ap-1 D1 hit not to be worth it, as the warriors will be advancing/in combat.
