Tyrannocyte problem

I am struggling with a rule problem.
How can I disembark a t-fex/exocrine (base 120x90) from a Tyrannocyte with the new rule "wholly 3 inches from the transport"?
It doesn't make any sense.

I dont see where it says what to do either but Strategic Reserves says to set up the model touching the board edge if it otherwise can't fit. So maybe set it up touching the transport. I'd go with that barring clarification

You can't set them up wholly within 3", so they can't be set up in the same way as disembarking from a transport, so they're destroyed. Would not recommend . The transport rules are not written to support bases bigger than 3". You could house rule it, but even the nearest analogue (Strat Reserves) is still a terrible idea, since then you sacrifice doing anything for the privilege. Just pay the CP instead and strat reserve it.

As you said Strat Reserves is terrible.

No, I was saying that house ruling not being able to fit from transport to not being able to fit like strat reserves is terrible, since you do nothing when you can't fit. Strat reserve on acid t-fex isn't good, but it's better than dying 100% guaranteed or having to ask your opponent nicely to bend the rules for you every game. And strat reserve on an exo is perfectly fine.

I understand now, you are right.
But for me Strat Reserves is a useless waste of CP. Maybe it could work just on something like an Exocrine, cause for other units depends on too many factors for doing good.
