How on eath do I get this mark on the ridgerunner? In particular the line you see after the sablong (red square).

Looks like he made a stencil and then used his airbrush to paint it.

Yotimoro is correct. An airbrush would woek.

GW released a video where they show how it works with a sponge and stencil.Here's the video where they explain it. I'd wondered the same thing and had to look it up.

i made a brand/stamp using a cult symbol and tree bit, not as clean as that but i makes it look like it was painted on, all be it roughly painted on
