Is this still valid?

actually if both have obsec they cancel out ”[- - -]then the objective marker is controlled by the player who has the most models within range of that objective marker as normal” meaning any models, ob sec or not

objective secured, troops (not necessarily infantry, includes ripper swarms for instance which have swarm not infantry keyword)

Some armies work differently e.g. custodes get it on bikes as well, IG get it on russes in spearhead, and a few others can get it from relics/WLT/unit abilities.

I like the idea of nids "devouring" objectives instead of scoring them.

As nids most "objectives" are meaningless. If its an arms factory we destroy it and consume those that where there and the soil it was on and the animals that might travel through it.

Scoreing it once when eating it and then its gone so no more points from it for anyone. We would have less poimts but it would make it so that we could ptevent them from scoreing much on primary. ...

Guess that would hurt tournament points though... guess thats a bad idea ...
