Theorycrafting Tanks and Abbies

Not looked at my GSC since 9th dropped, but I heard Forge the Narrative talking about the potential for Leman Russ with aberrants as a reactive counter punch. Liked the sound of how that might play, with bikes for early objective grabbing and troops in goliaths for obsec, raising banners and attacking on all fronts. Gives up bring it down terribly, and probably falls down in lots of other ways I haven't thought of yet. It's v rough but something like:

Rusted claw battalion
Abominant
Iconward
Patriarch
3x10 BBs in goliaths
10 abbies
Kelermorph (or other elite character)
8 Jackals and 2 flamer quads, shotguns and pistols, in 1 squad or 2

BB Patrol
Demolisher Tank Commander, heavy flamer sponsons, heavy bolter
5 scions
2 Demolisher battle tanks, heavy flamer sponsons, heavy bolters

Honestly would work on a Battalion for BBs, 3x TCs. Since we can't take Tank Ace from memory, no point looking at anything else.

The GSC should be in BC instead too. It's just better for whatever you want to do mostly.

Goliath Trukks are bad. They don't have the ability to sit on objectives. 10 BB inside are also pointless since they get no benefits period. I'd consider getting a platoon commander or 2 and just supercharge Move Move Move the Infantry Squads into range to steal objectives.

Honestly if you want to run that, do IG with TC LRs and Bullgryns instead. You'll hit about as hard, survive way better, and can have 2 spells to keep you alive much longer. Abbys have no advantages to this build in any way, other than a potential advance and charge. But when you tank lascannons on a 2+/3++ (+1 spell, +1 take cover Strat, +1 actual cover), you probably do not need to worry about being shot in general. Just don't roll 1s.
