Revised 2000 Point Leviathan and Kronos List

After reading a bit of the differing threads posts, I think this is getting pretty close to optimized for what we have to offer right now with new points. I took out the Rupturefex unless I know I will be fighting someone with lots of vehicles, or something that the Hive guard cannot Double Shoot off the table. Comments, pointers and concerns always welcome!

Resonance Barb on a Neurothrope feels so bad, being able to cast 3 powers but knowing only 1 + smite means you waste half the relic. Give it to a Tyrant and trust in the re-roll ones.

Hi Tallthor. 

If I'm not mistaken, your list only comes out to 1,779 points. I figure the rest of the points would be going into Tyranid warriors or the like based off of previous conversations. But maybe you went a different direction. 
The 4x Zoanthropes are interesting. They are quite hardy which is what you want this edition. What do you primarily use them for?

Does it feel bad? Yes. But honestly, casting Symbiostorm is so important that I personally believe the consistency increase is worth it. With a Neuro, you cast Symbiostorm on a 5, which is really hard to beat, especially since as you said, you can reroll 1's on the psychic test. 

If you do want to cast a 3rd power, you can always spend a CP on Synaptic Channeling to get access to a wider variety of powers provided you have other psykers.

Did anyone find something about limiting multiple smites? As far as I know, so far in 9th, you can cast smite multiple times with the same unit.

Wow, cant believe I missed that hahaha I will have to look at what else to bring. Maybe I will just throw the Rupturefex back in there. Also yeah, i have 4 other psyker units, if I want to CP reroll their smites for extra damage I am much more willing to do that offensively than on my Symbiostorm. The 4 zoanthropes depending on the enemy I might outflank to counter units with invuln's or to use as a bit of a distraction and take some shooting away from the big beasts or my troops on objectives. Also if I have my Hive tyrants flying about, them and the walkrant are the redundant synapse. Its 2D3 for their smites at 4 Zoans right, and at 24 inch range you can select whcih model casts it so that you can sort of cheese your way to shoot the closest model based on how they are in coherency.
