Rockgrinders i feel could be hidden gem that could be great to push enemy units off of mid field objectives and deploy our own objective secured troops. Pair them up with a malceptor it can greatly reduce the damage they receive from bolters and missiles as the -1 strength will be niche in that it can reduce the dice roll by one. The Primus can also pop up and provide the +1 to hit at at key area they charge into. 

The jackal and patriarch pop up with neophytes to target heavy units, rippers pop up to the enemy backfield and my own back field held by the shooty nids.

This might work, but you don't have much of a melee threat. I think that this list will have issues against a melee power house list.

On topic, 45 T-shirts on the board is not hard to remove for anyone. I don’t think the maleceptor and transports are enough. Maybe just bring jackal, primus and as many neophytes in trucks as possibly without acolytes and patriarchs but I guess that ruins your entire design. Unless you’re aiming for action secondaries I think rippers will be better and cheaper than 5 man acos. A different approach could be dropping neos for more nids support and keep your rockgrinders as objective shockers.

I guess I could take out the malceptor and add in some other models that provide more board coverage, but I'm not sure what to replace it with? Maybe some zoanathropes or warriors? What about the patriarch? I wanted to add him in as my warlord to get the bladed cog warlord trait and to provide fearless to my neophytes and pop up with them, while being a good counter charge unit should my neophytes get charged. Or should I cut him out along with the malceptor, or replace him with a magus?
