OFCC Tyranid list, a large gathering for beer hammer

Here in the Pacific Northwest of USA, in Portland, Oregon there is a yearly gathering of nerds at a club event called OFCC. It is a conglomeration of table top games played while in a friendly atmosphere. For 40k, there is a 4 man team event as well as a 40k ITC tournament. I enjoy the beer and pretzels team event. Three other drunkards and I will be facing off against 5 other teams, one of which will be the team of the notorious Westrider.

As a team we decided to include a fortification on every army list and then we randomized which unit had to be included in our list. I scored a Dimachaeron... So I present my list with Sporocysts and a Dima. I have had the Dimachaeron since 2014 and I am just building it now. Also, I had a spare Sporocyst box sitting around so I will have to put together the second one of those. I figure, if you have one you might as well have two. Which also means I have to go dig out all my spore mines.

As I have never played with a Dima or Sporocysts I am looking for any sort of advice people might have.

Due to the limited unit count you have and the fact that almost all of it is limited to assault this is my prediction.

You will either have to hold steady till turn 2 and try not to lose to much turn 1 to shooting (difficult since a dima and tyrants are easy to draw LOS to)
Or will need to dive headlong as deep as possible turn 1 and bad touch the big guns
(Also difficult assumeing they brought a screean and you will most likely only be able to charge 1 unit in)

There is some positives though.
The 2 flyrants should have enough movement to get in range of the front screen assuming normal deployment techniques. The dima can make it to the enemy frontline turn 1 assuming you get onslaught on it and it gets good run and charge rolls. The stealers will need the sling as usual for the t1 charge, but depending on rolls strategems can be flexed around as needed.

Not sure its competitively viable but if you pull it off it might be a bit scary for a second.

I actually feel that the exocrene doesnt fit the theme here. OOE would fit better so that him and swarmy hit t2 and thats alot of crushing power. But... at that point you would have limited answers to flyers so ... idk.

I kind of agree with afewviews on the exocrine. You could include some more genestealers or termagants instead. Or ditch the stealers altogether and go for hormagants.

On the behemoth tyrant you should go dual scytals, scythe of tyran and murderous size. I'd also give it adrenal glands

Another option is to go big. Drop all the stealers and add in a bunch of melee monsters.

Dimachaeron looks big and scary - It's also fast, tearing it off and using it as a distraction while it eats something on a flank - love the mod, rules....yeh

After a few games on Table Top Simulator I have found this list is not going to work. It worked fantastic in my first game when I went first and the amount of spore mines created along with the melee pressure let me press my advantage. Going first is a very large benefit. Going second didn't work so well because my opponents prioritized their anti tank weapons on the sporocysts in their first round to eliminate them, so then I lost board control. I will be re-doing the list a bit.
