In the recent lore published (https://www.warhammer-community.com/2020/01/20/psychic-awakening-oppressors-endgw-homepage-post-4/).. It could be possible that the cult of the mindchord joins the TAU. I know it's very much far fetch!! ONE CAN DREAM

I know what he's thinking. I'm not sure how he went from 'GSC Cult on a human world fighting Tau' to 'GSC Tau'. While Tau Cults are a thing, that's not a Tau Cult (and Tau and Ork Cults have been a thing since 7th, yet they're not supported in rules and I wouldn't expect them to be). Based on what I've heard people comment about the other story, there might be a separate Tau Cult elsewhere, but we'll see.
