How do our bugs look in a vacuum?

Asking this because every post, every response is the same; "This unit is great when taking X Hive Fleet because Y". but unfortunately not everyone plays that Fleet.  So how do specific units look when they don't have a Hive Fleet adaptation?  So we can then add one of our choosing.

For the op topic : I don't think it is going to help you a lot looking at a unit in a vacuum, because you always compare it in a unrealistic environment.

Edit : although you can find enough posts about that some units are better than others, even without any bonuses.

All our units suck without added benefits hive fleets spells and adaptations make.

Other than kraken (because of movement) i dont think anything big changes for our units by changing hive fleets. Sure your ranged bugs will be better in a kronos detachment but even if you arent kronos you are likely to use the same units for the same thing.

I almost agree with you there but raveners are only worth taking in jorm and warriors arent that great in kraken.

That being said only 5 of our fleets are even worth considering so.... in a vaccuum nids are still in a rough spot.

I love them though.

Yeah you are right, raveners are another unit thats only taken for their hive stratagem. I dont recall anything affecting warriors that wasnt an incremental advantage.
