Cranial Channeling: Once per turn a psyker can reroll a single psychic test.

Does that mean that each psyker unit can reroll a psychic test?

It's singular. So I think it's just one psyker, once a turn. Which is stupid for an entire fleet adaptation.

I thought it meant 1 reroll per psyker. If it is just 1 that is as bad as the Ld one.

Cranial Channeling: Once per turn, when a model with this takes a Psychic test, you can re-roll the result.

Once per turn makes it pretty clear unfortunately.

It is meant for vanguard detachment one neuro 3*6 zoanthropes, tha5 is all. This way you make sure all your three souped up smites go off. If zoanthropes were appropriately costed (33-35 pts per model) it would be a decent trait honestly

Everything you read about shadow in the warp translates to -1 psy test? worlds go dark to the astronomican, psykers killing themselves, madness, peoples minds exploding... equals minus 1 ?

Nearly every army has a psyker with items that get +1 to psychic tests.

I think a minus 3 should be given a5 an even longer range, we should really dominate that phase. Just like marines more or less shrug off ap-0 with ease (takes 6 ap 0 wounds to take down a primaris) so should we shrug off most psy attempts. We could lose (and we should for the sake of balance) some stuff in exchange though, no question. 

Shooting stuff Iguess it would have to be.

It should have been designed as stackable to up to -3 to psychic test

I've considered it with OOE and 3 units of 4x Zoans. Going this and then the +1 to hit for monsters on the charge. That being said, I'm not sure zoans can be the backbone of any competitive list when the chaos mech list just mercs anything that flies. That being said, I might still give it a try sometime.

And then there's the Jorm power, which you can only use twice in a game (it says when unit comes in from deepstrike so turnes 2 and 3.....)

TBF, its powerful for that T2 T3 beta strike. Its reroll hits in shooting and melee, assuming you knew how to get in.
