3 carnifex sitting at an effective 1+ armor with a -1 to hit? Sounds pretty good to me.

It is not a straight up armour save though is it ? CC or ignore cover weapons will not care.
Also as it was said Jormun fexes need the ignore cover wlt to be effective for clearing infantery. But we will see, perhaps it will make the 3 fexes kinda good (if it ends up really working). I was to quick to judge I admit, perhaps something can be done with this thing

The best thing for those buffs is that thry take the place of our useless warlord traits.

Depends on your local meta. I play on boards with lots of ruins and soft cover (forests and craters), so Insidious Threat is pretty important for me.

I guess even with the BS GW has pulled so far we can except a stratagem to buy an additional WL trait.

Same here in terms of terrain. Last game I brought a Neurothrope warlord with Insidious Threat precisely to avoid dealing with army-wide 2+ on the other side, but I was barely keeping her alive through LoS ignoring sniper barrage from two squads of Eliminators.

My bad for skipping on HG for that particular game, but LoS ignoring snipers hitting on 2+ with reroll, wounding on 2+ with reroll are just bleh.

Also, I now officially hate Crimson Fists.

Don't play against SM. Problem solved.

For me it was already a hot mess before the latest buffs of insanity because of a lack of true LoS blocking terrain, I am not even going to try now. I mean I can still beat the really bad players at my store, but I am not wasting my time playing them anymore, and I am not going to waste my time playing against the competent players who can table me in two turns while being half asleep.

I am not going to be all mad & raging about it, just politely declining all invitations and challenges.

Playing non-SM armies, KT and AoS should tide me over until this mess gets fixed. Which won't happen before CA2020.

thats great except i only have like 8 players in my area.  only half show up to our monthly gaming night.

The optimism here is so innocent, naive, and retarded. your 2+ sv warriors are going to die easily, all the same. Your 4+ overwatch unit is going to die anyway from marines in combat.

He has a point. It feels bad when Sternguards are punching Genestealers to death in combat, and that happened before Shock Assault was a thing.

As for the Cover? A lot of armies are running Ignore Cover to counter the Stealthy marines, so we're going to be a victim of that.

All they needed to do, and i pray that they do this in CA, make our units ws3 or bs3.
Think about it. SM players got all the buffs they wanted by arguing "in the lore pace marines are (insert bs strength) so if "in the lore" is the way players argue for buffs then why cant the apex predators of the galaxy atleast be good at hiting something?
The preview is a preview yes but all im asking is not a new psychic power or strat, just give us a better WS/BS.
