GW: Leviathan have a trait that makes running tons of synapse great, what psykic power do they need? I know, lets give them something to mitigate problems with not enough synapse...
Seriously WTF, catalyst is already nerfed for them, and we already have a "worried about not enough synapse" power. That is 3/7 with reduced value in a psykic heavy faction.
Senses of OD is band aid to cover how stupid overwatch is getting. It is good, but it is hard to get excited about units being able to get to do their job. Pathogenesis is nice, and it will be very nice to have some choice in artefacts. An autohit VC and rerolling hits on claws sound nice, but when they are on 2+ attacks anyway and had conditions they never came close to competing with chameleon. More reliability on the heavy VC will be huge.
The problem with the strat is that the enemy can always ignore it till you proc it, and you only ever want to proc it on a unit that is already dangerous (and lacks ap, above -3 is situational at best). It is not like a -1ap on demand that suddenly makes termies much more afraid of hormagaunts (still just a little bit), which changes how play goes even if it isn't used.
+2 save in cover is ok I guess. Putting it on your hive guard seems a solid choice. Unkillable warriors of futility are still futile, and T4 3W is still vulnerable to anything with AP. Maybe carapace stealers. With jorm they could pop up in the enemy's face and survive not charging immediately. That does push them to T3 for any impact, but does force the enemy to screen effectively. Pyrovores could be interesting, but only coming in units of 3 makes it pretty weak, especially if you are going to invest in a DS for them. Best might be venomthropes though, because they just need to be alive to be useful. Only taking them to a 3+ is pretty painful though.
If this is supposed to be the exciting stuff I am concerned.
