What is this ?? I got it for 25 dollars in a bid ?

So I was bidding on a tyranid book thing it said special edition and looks a lot different from my codex what is it exactly .
I only bet on it because I was hoping to get it cheaper then when I got my original codex and I did ....

I believe that is the Collector's edition of the codex. Not a bad find for 25 bucks. Especially since a regular codex is about 55 or so.

Its the same as the regular codex but you get a cool artwork front and back and its limited edition. They are pretty funky. I got one for my GSC as they are my main army.
