Ok depressed Hive mind, can anybody get any hope up for the two chanses coming up with psychic awakening and chapter approved. For nids it cant any worse so that is good.
Some new traits and 20% points of our monsters and we are happy again right?

Our infantry need to be cheaper. 6 pts for gargoyle is horrible. Especially when there are fearless neophytes with 4+ 6+++ for 5 pts and new SoB with 3+ 5+++ and ignoring -1 and -2 AP for 9 pts...

don't get either super excited or bummed. the PA books havent' been earth shattering but there are some solid buffs to CSM in them, so it's not impossible we get some good stuff out of ours (and hopefully the BA too). the problem is that it's still not superdoctrine levels of good. they corrected too far for codex SM. the CA have largely been minor points adjustments. we have nothing out there flapping as obviously broken so any nerfbat would be very surprising (but that hasn't stopped them in the past). flyrant, neurothrope and malanthrope prices need to get dropped back down. still need major points adjustments on many units, or a complete re-work (which we won't get).

what we'll likely see between CA and PA are some new strats and WL traits, possibly a relic or two and probably a Leviathan focus, and minor points adjustments in CA.

if there are any nids plastics on the way it's been well hidden, they aren't on that leaked (and so far pretty accurate) price listing.

Mycetic Sporepod needs to drop down 30 points and give us the option of not paying for guns w/ basic free tentacle whips. Make it transport up to X wounds so we can drop in squad + buff character

I'm not terribly hopeful as gw sends books to the printer 6 months in advance, so they probably didn't include point adjustments due to marines in chapter approved.

I hope they remove synapse entirely. GW thinks synapse is worth 20% extra points or something. I'd rather play fearful than fearless

Drop the points on every single models of ours by 25% and we're back up to being good. Units will still be bad, but now we can field so many of them (like we should be) that it doesn't matter. Might be a bit too much, but oh well.

Yeah thats too low, can reproduce 120 points a turn if you take 3, tervigons should be like 200 points each but they should be hardy, snd be able to take shots.

I saw a rumour which says CA will be making guardsmans and other 4 point infantry 5 points to bring them in line with cultists. I think I will Scream if they make gants 5 points.
