Anyone know of third party rocksaws?

I would like to have more saws for my acolytes, but given how much I've already invested in this army, the thought of paying $55 for a rocksaw (only one in a kit after all) is pretty daunting. Bitz companies appear sold out online (or want $10 a saw!)

Are there any third party options out there that people have seen/used that would be more economical?

I've used a couple of Ork saws and replaced the end of the cutters with them. Not perfect, but it at least gives you multiple saws per box and you might have more luck getting drill/cutter bitz.

Are rock saws that popular? I thought cutters are better, even if slightly more expensive

But im not missing something, right? They are still identical to rock cutters save for the lack of the instakill D6 roll and they are like 2 points cheaper, right?

You're missing the very important -1 to hit that cutters cop because GW couldn't be stuffed making some other balance thing.

Ok yeah, that makes sense then. Forget about rock cutters. GW needs to hire someone who can so some basic math fir their balance review team.
