How to magnetise Zoanthropes/Venomthropes

I'm thinking of buying the Zoan/Venomthrope set but I don't want to spend $60+ only to then be stuck with one type of model, Is there any way I can magnetise the set so I can switch between the two types of units freely?

You can use gargoyle tails/bodies or gaunt bodies to kitbash the other. I'd recommend that over magnetizing.

You can use gargoyle tails/bodies or gaunt bodies to kitbash the other. I'd recommend that over magnetizing.

Yup! I really need to post my kitbash. I did steal the idea from another hiver. Balancing the zoan is difficult with the gargoyle tail, so I used some scenery bits to better support it.

No I haven't, am currently saving up for the gargoyle set

The Venomthropes share some really awkward components with the Zoanthropes. The ribcage and back-spines especially.

The rib cage isn't so bad to hack from the gargoyle tail and tailor with a bit of greenstuff. I'd forgotten about the back spines. I think a blob of greenstuff wouldn't look bad for venomthropes, while using the spines for zoans.
