How to get wings on this Beast

Hey Hive Mind
I have finished my first HT and now I want to put his wings on him.

Can someone please help me out and suggest what I cna do to install his wings on him.
I have never used Green Stuff or anything like that so an easier option would be greatly appreciated.

Oh and I know I have built the "walking" mode of this miniature but want to add the wings any way, as I would like to have him fly with 2 x Scything Talon Sets.

Easy, you can get yourself some green stuff and mold the provided wings onto its back (or side). Or other wings would also do, like I did here:

Personally, I'd leave them off. Nids have six limbs. No offence meant caexis.

Adding additional wings will (in my opinion) break the aesthetic of the great model you have made. Plus if your unsure of green stuff and pinning its best to learn on another model who is unpainted and you can then also learn the dark art of Nid magnetisation and or pinning limbs. This gives our models all the options and keeps them relevant when rules change.

Play this guy as Swarmlord, Swarmy is a real boss and very useful tool in our army. Or as a walkrant, I rate walkrants for the points saving and the fact allot of good armies have +'s to hit fliers. Or just let your openent know he has wings.

Put wings on your next one, there will be more....

In general people count either the wings or feet as the "second set' of claws etc.

You can do your best to snap off the upper arms and put the wings on there or do similar to caexis' pic. I dremelled holes into the back between the top most chimney stacks and the center ridge. I was going to use Balrog wings from the LotR set and they even lined up decently (probably would have sanded them a bit though). I ultimately decided against it, but I'm pretty sure it would have worked.

Thanks for the input mate.I had a play with my Green Stuff on the weekend and managed to get the wings to fit in nicely.
It has made the model look very menacing and also very oversized but that is what I was going for.

When I play I tend to try and get my Flyrants into combat as soon as possible so they deal as much damage as they can prior to being picked off (like they tend to do) but am yet to have a game with this new rule system.
I will be running with 2 of them as well as a Broodlord (for all my stealers that will be in my list) as I like the H2H style of play with my Nids opposed to the Shootie style.

FairPlay, I'm glad your happy with the wings. 

As a tip for this edition, if your playing stealers you will want to try swarm lord, his ability to throw a stealer unit forwards in the shooting phase is incredible, meaning stealers can hit combat t1. Have a look at most 'stealer shock' competitive lists.

" I have read up on old Swarmy and I can't find anywhere that he can sling shot Stealers 
I thought the BroodLord was the Stealers best "friend/weapon"

I will take some pics of my Flyrant tonight so I can get some input from you guys if he is worthy of the Mighty Hive Mind.

I kind of like it, they make him look very menacing and bad ass   but value options as well.
