Idea is. Use the clown cars and the skyweavers to pressure vehicles/gunline making use of the silent shroud cant fire overwatch strat most likely on the bikes because of their large footprint 3W a piece and using blur of color to give bikes a 3++ and if they fall back from the bikes use the cego jest strat to shoot them again on their turn. Troupe master advancing with the relic that makes you not shoot overwatch. Tying up as much as possible while the eldar/de detachments foot slog giving them a distraction hopefully limiting the infantry casualties and hopefully the ravager will be protected from AT. Expecting a lot of warp flamers/bloat drone/plague burst crawler lists is why the no overwatch stacked with the fall back shoot you strat. OPEN TO SUGGESTION 🤙

It feels pretty AT light, but seems to have a lot of board control. What do you do against a list that doesn't care if it gets touched, like DE or knights or a lot of tau looks, basically predominantly fly armies?

I am interested to see how you do! Is there any way you could add in another ravager? My buddies DE list with 3 triple disruptor ravagers is ruining my life.

Yes I could drop the jet bikes. They serve a purpose with the haywire canon dealing mortal wounds to (vehicles on 4+ and 6s do d3 mortal wounds on top of normal damage against infantry they are basically -1 bolters on d6 shots per bike at 24" range and the zephyrglaives are s4 -2 2 on 3 attacks per bike. What there major purpose is that they have a huge footprint combined with the no overwatch strat to tie up armor after they shoot into them and when opponent falls back I strat to let them shoot again. 16" move auto 6" advance. Advance, shoot and charge harlequin shenanigans. I have looked into running pure strength -4 weapons I own 2 flyers a Crimson Hunter exarch bright lancer and a hemlock wraithfighter with 2 heavy scythes. S12 -4 flat 2 on 2 d3 auto hit. The poison weapons will do some lifting of monsters and battle suits not caring what the toughness is just eating mass 4+ to wound. I am going to play test Saturday against the event coordinator and if I get wrecked by IG mass mortar teams with elite BA stuff and 3 dawn eagle captains. No vehicles in his list but many run them in our groups

How did this end up going?

Every table had a knight on it... there are 8 tables at least 1 knight per table. And out of the knights lists. 4 of them were nearly identical. BA betallion IG brigade with a Castellan. This is way over powered 3 cp fishers is broken. The quin jet bikes really hurt the knight and basically made them a non factor but the smash captain re DS every turn and 3d6 charging with no overwatch and against my tridelri they had a steady supply of cp to make things stupid. The shield breaker missiles are dumb they all were complaining about my quin detachment avoiding overwatch and I wouldn't say anything about the cheese lists half the players were running, but my list was tweaked before the tourny. It was a definite eye opener to the things GW need to fix in a competitive setting. Top 3 players all had the cookie cutter BA/IG/IK list. And the other 2 were sleeping basically. DG got obliterated by these cookies. Tau player did fairly right up until I was watching his game against my brother in law and caught him "bending" rules. Ethereals reroll 1s only effect models who stay put in movement phase

I think an FAQ has to be issued to make CP farms like the unique types of feel no pain ruling: you benefit from one only in your list.

Also: I hate feeling like I showed up with a list concept that I love and getting punked by net lists. It is like my third least favorite thing about competitive 40k. I brought such a list to the LVO last year with nids and got Dark Reaper'd on game 1(28 of them), slow played on game 2 by 3 DK grey knights (we went 3 turns and he won by 2 pts I would have doubled in turn 4 if not tabled him) and then just flat out played on game 3 by a less frustrated and drunk mars admech opponent who used the map and mission better than I did and had mortal wound robots I had never played against. Best game of the day, that third one. Was only a bummer in context.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your result here. I have a few friends/league opponents who have been hot on the smash captain and IG combo. I own knights but I am trying to avoid adding in BA though I have used my gsc as a guard battalion. I am leaning strongly toward buying a castellan to include in these lists though. He is such a brutal single model fire support and comes with a pretty (please do not swear) sturdy defense as well.

Bring mass haywire. Knights die to this quickly. If I had ran a 2nd 6bike squad it wouldn't have gotten to do anything cheese. I could only vect so many strats
Vect the re ds turn 1 vect the target character turn 1 vect the fight twice turn 1 and rolled a 6 on that one. That guy was salty that I denied his cheese for an entire turn. I won that one, only because of luck and the neutering of his death company/knight before they got to hurt me. I've got another tournament on the 29th. I am wanting to change it up a little and bring somthing fresh
