Unfortunately i haven't got the kit here yet so maybe the answer is extremely trivial.

Top/bottom sections don't really need a magnet in my opinion (gravity holds them together when needed). That's really all there is to it if you are not making the Mucolid.

If you are keeping a Mucolid option, then you just need to choose where the tentacles go (I'd suggest using some wire for tentacles for the Mucolid).
