Dark Reaper/Craftworld Stratagem Rules Questions

Hey guys,

So Dark Reapers ignore penalties in the shooting phase but what about Forewarned? They are shooting us at the movement phase of our turn, so they should still suffer penalties, no?

Also, you can't use Fire and Fade after shooting with Forewarned for the same reason if I'm not mistaken due to the "in the shooting phase" requirement, right?

Yes they still suffer penalties outside of the shooting phase.

Same thing for Fire and Fade. Has to happen during the Eldar player's shooting phase.

What about the forewarned line "as if in the shooting phase"? Does that have any implications on whether or not the stratagem or special abilities still apply?

As if in the shooting phase =/= the shooting phase.

Eldar FAQ further clarifies:

Q: The Dark Reapers’ Inescapable Accuracy ability no longer
mentions Overwatch. Does this mean that they can hit on
Overwatch on rolls of 3+?
A: No. Inescapable Accuracy only affects attacks made in
the Shooting phase.

Forewarned allows a squad of reapers to shoot a unit coming in as reinforcements, they will hit on 3's. Overwatch they hit just like everything else on 6's, make sure there is a farseer within 6inches or they cant use the gem.
