So as the title says, I’d love to see what kind of kitbash or converted Tyranid flyers people have made. I’ve seen a lot of other monsters and creatures on here, but not much attention has been given to flyers. Post them here, whether they be your take on the current flyers, a new pose, or something completely new and unique!

Over 48 hours later and no replies. I’m beginning to think the hive needs some variation in its flyers! Looking around there REALLY isn’t that much besides some flyrant conversions. Maybe we could do with a brainstorming thread for new ideas? I’d love a new tyranid flyer - the ones we have are great, but there isn’t really any variation in the hive crone/harpy, and the Harridan is far out of most people’s price range (and with a subpar rule set it’s unlikely to be bought even if it was cheaper!)

The story behind this one was that I realy wanted a 'floating' tervigon.  As I built it I realised that it should be a 'garvigon'.

This was before Harpys and crones were a thing. Of course she became either a harpy or crone later. 

She is rear part hive tyrant, front and middle tervigon and has Flyrant wings. Plus fex head, I later modelled both my crones with fex heads to keep some synergy.
