Tales of That Guy: A Help Thread

Most of us will have come across it at some point. A person who takes cheating to the next level, owns only the most competitive factions, or uses lists that are so incredibly cheesy that they should come with a health warning. That Guy. The one person nobody wants to play against, not out of fear of losing, but because anyone who is That Guy is normally rather unpleasant to play against. You may have encountered someone like this before, or you may have never even heard of the term 'That Guy' before. Whatever your experience with people like this, working together is often the best way to deal with That Guy, and make the hobby a more enjoyable experience for everyone.


So that's why ive created this thread. Here, you can share your experience(s) with That Guy, or give advice to others on what to do in those scenarios. Hopefully by sharing advice, we can make Warhammer 40,000 a more friendly and enjoyable hobby.

Humm.. we have a guy here who usualy cheats a fair deal, its usualy by "forgetting" things, or just by rolling dice really fast (when your not looking), picking up dice that was not succesful and claiming they where. Or when he moved a model, was not happy with it so moved it "back" to where it "was", while in fact he put it down in a different spot further ahead (easily proven by using a measuring stick). Now since its consistent (also he has like what 4-5 wins/draws against me in total, towards my maybe 100+ wins), and I know he is a (please do not swear) player and I ususaly win, I dun always make a huge deal out of it. But it sure is annoying.
