Haruspex conversion

..is complete. Wanted to share it with you guys. Basically removed all the feeder palps and replaced with greenstuff tentacles. I like tentacles. Had some feedback saying its not slimy enough but I put several coats of varnish on it. If I could do sticky loops of mucus trailing off it I would but not sure how to. I've experimented with superglue mixed with plastic glue and a hot glue gun but doesn't look right. Has anyone had success in this area?

This really looks terrifying! And the paint scheme is amazing mate, and brilliantly executed. There’s some glue-like stuff that sets hard; UHU glue or something like that, a quick google should give you some ideas.
Saying that, it looks amazing without it - love the posing in the victim as well!

Thanks Babyripper. UHU glue mixed with water is dirt cheap and readily available so I'll try that out at some point. A guy on coolminiornot recommends something called 'Duco cement' which sounds terrible but he gets great results:

Oh god, looking again the mouth tentacles (at least the large ones) remind me of twister ice lollies. Never going to unsee it

The glue stuff sounds good mate - make sure to post how well it works. I’ll probably do something similar for the dimachaeron arriving soon!

Been really looking forward to seeing how this one turned out mate. As usual, you don't dissapoint. Great stuff.

I use hot glue for mucus effects. If i need significant drool effects, I'll string some really fine fuse wire as lattice, run hot glue down those and run random strands of hot glue between. I'll Tint it with a touch of 'whatever' clear colour which will look cool and works to hide the fuse wire.
