I'm avoiding 10 man 10 man 10 man units primarily because of the issues with Ork Freebooterz Fliers getting a free +1 to hit for very little effort. We dont want to make it trivial for them to just ignore (as in, +1 to offset, then additional +1 ) our main defensive tool of -1 to hit, which is a big deal otherwise. 2x10 gargs and 3 Venomthropes all present very easy/tasty targets.
You use the Warriors as a midfield-ish setup that also bridges for your S.Link; so remember to keep them within 12" of some other synapse on both sides.
Personally, I think if you're looking for something that is resilient and impactful, stick with the Barbed Heirodule. The Maleceptor is kinda bad with short movement range, low impact in close range, no guns, and only 1 spell cast + smite. This is literally something that gets run in by some horde or insignificant unit, and gets stopped dead cold.
Likewise, the Flyrant doest do anything - it's safely ignored most of the time, and can in fact I can tag you with some bodies I dont really care about to force you to use 2cp to make it not useless. It would primarily be useful as a surprise ObSec tool more often than anything else, and a source of mortal wounds to run into people's face and auto-explode. At least run it with dual Scy-Tal and tag an Murderous Size on it - then at least you can threaten a very specific subset of targets (Dreadnoughts, Robots, Buggies, Planes, etc etc) which usually have an impact on the enemy's play ability or damage output, and it can still do the same role.
What you want to do with Gargoyles, Hormagants usually do just fine. they do lose 4" of movement base, sadly, but also come at 1pt cheaper and can actually charge things for damage, which allows them to Overrun into awkward places for the enemy to deal with (Prime + reroll + exploding hits, possibly with Horms -1ap strat, very respectable damage. I actually forgot they had that strat in the first place..). A Double Moving Gargoyle literally are just bodies on a point, and cant output the melee damage to do these kinds of tricks. If you can, I think Gargoyles are great carrier for Fleshborer strat; so medium field defensive, and keep Hormas for the long field disruption.
Maleceptor easily places its S.Link on HG; Prime puts its S.Link on whatever's going forward. What do the Warriors put their S.Link on? I dont see anything which benefits off of it really, Unless you want to create a 2+ to hit gunplatform with your HT. Which might plausibly be a better call than it first looks (durable gun platform is always a good play, assuming it has good output to begin with), but isnt your play here.
