Question about Primaris Grey Knights

Was there a fluff reason for them not getting any? I could almost buy that GhillieSuitMan didn't know about them and that's why he didn't prepare them. But he did hang out with Valdus after he woke up. Just wanted to know.

As a grey knight player i do question it myself. So far they haven't given a reason why or a reason why not. Personally I like the idea that the Grey Knights wouldn't get the Primaris, but they should have access to their guns.

no proof, but he impression i have so far from the new fluff is that i dunno that Cawl was all buddy buddy with malcador and the gang when they were putting the GK and inquisition together. he may not have known exactly what was going on with them, and ran his creations in a different direction.

At the same time, 2W smite spammers with nemesis force weapons and storm bolters as standard equipment would be pretty mean.
