I just wanted to show off some of the conversions I’ve made since getting into the game half a year ago. All of these have been made in the interest of saving money (by my estimate all these conversions would have £300 more expensive to buy thanto make)
I apologise in advance for my atrocious painting skills, most of these aren’t finished/are halfway through being repainted
This is my HVC/RC flyrant I made out of the parts leftover from building the Swarmlord. The torso two carnifex carapaces, a carnifex head and a pile of green stuff.
This is my Old One Eye. He may not be perfect but he is mine. I felt like the stock claws and talons werent big and meaty enough so I gave him an upgrade.
My Tervigon. Unfortunately she ate too much biomass and can no longer carry her own weight, so these two neophyte have to chauffeur her around. I like this build, its just two Tervigon bellies stuck together with some stubby limbs attached. When she gets degraded in battle I take away the truck to show her decreased movement speed.

My biggest conversion to date (but hopefully not for long, going to attempt a hieropherant soon). This Barbed Heirodule is made out of 2 Tervigon kits, the leftovers of which were used to make the Tervigon, and the next conversion.
My Dimacheron, also made out of Tervigon kit parts. This was also very fun to make. The tentacle mouth thing is a Haruspex head just shoved into the chest cavity. Fun fact, the unlucky space marine was my first ever GW miniature.
These three Lictors are made from old Warriors I got from a friend. I use the third one as a Deathleaper (or did, RIP Deathleaper special deployment)
One of my conversions that goes in a slightly different direction to the original, this Red (Green/Purple?) Terror is mostly greenstuff. The rest is Swarmlord arms and a Venomthrope body
Just another Hive Tyrant to Malanthrope conversion, about to be put on the shelf for the foreseeable future
Alright, thats it for the tyranid stuff, time for the GSC stuff
Acolyte Hybrid with an improvised demolition charge
The following are all hammer Aberrants made form the Goliath gang kit:
I’m not too certain about the test colour scheme on this, I’m trying to show that my cult are related to my tyranid fleet by having the mutated bits the same colour as the carapace but it looks out of place. Maybe once I get some highlights on it’ll look decent.
So, what did y’all think? I’m quite happy with how most of these have turned out. (Also anyone got any idea on how to convert up so acolyte rock saws I really want some extras)
