Hi everyone, I am returning

I couldn't see a more logical place to post an intro thread, so apologies to the mods if it is in the wrong place.

I used to post here a few years ago (2011-12) as drdan when I was working on a heavily converted GSC-count-as nids army. I have forgotten the password for that account and can't recover it, so I created a new one. I just wanted to say hi.

I have decided to jump back into 40k and get painting and converting again. I recently moved to Nottingham (UK), popped into GW out of curiosity earlier this year and discovered that GSC now has a codex! Late to the party I know, but the new rules and models rekindled my interest in the game, so hopefully this time I will stick with it!

I will post some new pics of my small but growing collection soon, and I look forward to learning from you all.

Good to have you back, the new GSC has also reignited my interest in the game also. Due to work constraints and the supposedly impending drop of 8th ED I am holding off diving headlong back in just for the moment.

There is much discussion about the GSC on the boards you may find quite helpful if you haven't already read it. Look forward to seeing your work.

Thanks, yeah I just read about the 8th ed drop, after I bought the 7th ed rulebook last week... oh well, at least it was the mini format one off ebay and not the expensive full package!

I'm also a returning player having been away for pretty much most of 7th Edition after friends decided they didn't like it.

I'm looking forward to the 8th edition and determined to get back into playing with both my Tyranids and Orks.
