Ideas for argumentative essay involving wrahammer

For english i have to write an argumentative essay about whatever i want, so i decided it is going to be warhammer related. Do you guys have any ideas of things i can argue for 2 pages about?

Ideas

Tabletop gaming has greater social benefits than computer gaming.

Adults still have to learn to loose, not just children.

Playing 'war' with toys is an important learning device for children and adults.


Your going to struggle if you try to describe any details of warhammer. Two pages is not long enough to explain to the reader what warhammer is. 
I'm not sure what level of writing you are writing at? For an argument you need a clear point to 'debate', you should use quotes from quality sources that will help explain ideas on either side of the point you are making.

I've no idea if there are easy references to access for the ideas above but the more 'general' your argument the easier it will be to find references and quotes.
Research and how you deliver your idea with quotes from others is key. Hope this helps.

Give us some of the requirements (other than page length or word count). This sounds like fun, post up some stuff to work with before your deadline.

well the thing is besides the page length there are no real requirments. my teacher just said to write the essay about whatever as long as we can argue about it.

I whole heartedly agree with barbedsparky up there, that is some up to date argumentative gold mine right there. In fact I had written a bit more but nixed it as that idea sums up your paper perfectly - do PETA v GW.

Yeah, wearing pretend fur on plastic toy soldiers is bad, but it's ok to use those same plastic toy soldiers that are actually worse than nazis is fine.

Well I actually dont know what grade I got on it because right after i did it we changed teachers, so she never graded it. She did however say that it was good when she read it. and Thanks for all the ideas everyone.
