Proxy Genecult

I've been thinking about Genecult after a thread I made recently with regards to playing Genecult in a CAD. I've not had a chance to do so yet as game time for me is hard to find, that and I've just been abroad for three weeks. First World Problems ay...?

I have however been thinking about proxy/conversions for Acolytes, trying to keep the modelling as simple as possible. I'm looking to model about 36 of them and if the cost gets too much I may as well just hit eBay for the real deal.

I've been thinking of using Skaven Plague Monks, cutting tails off and either adding Genestealer heads or modelling the cloaks to completely cover faces.

Have you done similar, or seen anything that might spur me on?

any mix of DV cultists, stealer bits and arms, and/or ST should be fine from a modeling standpoint.

from a gameplay standpoint, just use the DV cultists until you get stuff made.

Dwez, love those genstealer cult models. I especially like how you used the bioweapons. It's an unconventional approach, but quite effective.

Nice job! I have a box of about 40 that I could convert that were thrown into a trade I made, but I'm not wasting the time until GW decides what should be done with GSC.
