Horm to Term Conversions

Greetings all,

Looking to start Nids in the near future once my clearout has finished on EBay and I am looking at picking up the Swarm Box. How easy would it be to convert some of the Hormagaunts to Termagants? Also could someone inform me of the amount of each of the Termagant weapons

There's 1:1 of fleshborer, devs and spinefists and none of the others. So you could probably really easily just give the horms spinefists (or some other weapon options if you want some devilgants).

Very easy. Just know the hormagaunt torsos because of their pose are topheavy and will tip over if you don't weigh the bases down.

Thanks for the help, so where can I find some devourers that are gant sized?

They come in the term box, so you'd get 40 with the swarm box - also with warrior kits (not 100% sure if they're actually exactly the same, but they'd be close enough).

If you're okay with half your gaunts having fleshborers and half your gaunts having devourers then you should be set with what's in the box. If you want 100% of your gaunts to have devourers then you'll have to hit up eBay or a bitz website for the rest. I suppose you could hit up the people on the trade board and try to swap for extra devourers.

...You had me mentally stocktaking my devs, thinking you meant there were only 20 in the box before I remembered what was going on in the thread.

40 devilgants should be more than enough for most purposes though, and you'll almost certainly want some fleshborers anyway (for expendable bodies, terv spawning, cheap squads etc).
