What colour should a Genestealer Cult be?

I got my Deathwatch box, and I am not sure what colour to paint them. Do I do the orignal colour or paint them up as my hive fleet?

So that got me thinking what do people think a Genestealer Cult should be? Should it be the traditional blues/purples? Should a GC be different from it's hive?

Let's discuss.

I'd probably run them matched with my main force, so that there's a tie-in. Plus, my Nids are green, so I'd get a cool 'sickly skin' tone going through the cult.

I'm planning on doing mine in the classic purple/blue scheme. Partly for nostalgic reasons, and partly to suggest that these aren't specifically fore-runners of my Hive Fleet, but are a Cult that's been around for ages, seeded who knows when, and they've just happened to have drawn HF Naeglaeria in.

I would also paint them so they match my main Hive Fleet, without being obvious.
The Purestrains and Patriarch would be painted exactly like regular Genestealers and Brood Lord. For the other cult members, I'd go with neutral colours (greys, browns, blacks, whites) for most of the model. Since the creatures in my Hive Fleet have bone-colour skin (like Kraken) and dark green carapaces with bright yellow highlights, the mutant models would have bone-colour skin, certain defining elements would be dark green (such as the Magus' stole) to make the model pop out, and then any small details would be yellow/gold (like the gem-like things on the Magus' robes).
I want the colours of my GC to hint at my Hive Fleet, so that if I'm playing a GC army, and then suddenly my main Hive Fleet were to come onto the battlefield from reserves, my opponent would see the resemblance and feel that the Hive Fleet is the true threat.
I'm not sure if that makes sense, but that's my two cents.

A lighter tone than your Nid fleet with deeper colours for purestrains and more bone/tan/skintone shades for the human-esk.

Though my Stealers are purple and my Nids blue.

My nids are black skin and olive/green carapace, so probably going to do some darker skin tones close to black with brighter greens and loud reds-yellows for highlights. Making them standout against the multitudes of your nids.

I'm thinking bluish skin for my guys with purple tones. Not terribly different from as shown on the box.

Made a bunch of counts-as cultists out of chaos cultists+genestealer bits and plan on using the cultists to be used as cultists for tzeentch as well.

HOWEVER might do the actual box mini's in my hive fleet's scheme. Basically have two different "cult" strains.

The yellow body + blue/red/orange/yellow/white carapace of my Hive Fleet, blended into pale human flesh colour depending on the generation of the hybrid.

I'm going to paint my cult to match my hive fleet's stealers, which are black and red. I decided to go for a construction worker yellow on their clothing which is something I've been wanting to do for an army for a while now, I just never had the opportunity, and it will tie them together with the rest of my hive fleet, which in contrast to the stealers are red, yellow and black (I opted to go for black and red on the stealers because I wanted them to look more sinister than the bright main fleet)
