Hello, I played in WTC last weekend and I have my batreps from that event. It was team tournament, 3 players per team, ETC missions (and ETC FAQs), 5 games total. Army composition: up to 4 detachments that can't repeat, no apocalypse, no FW, no escalation, LoW could not repeat. Our team captain had SM with IK and allied daemons, second player had eldars (scatterlaser spam with warp spiders formation and WK) and I played necrons. Here is my list: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Necron Decurion Detachment: Reclamation Legion: HQ: Overlord (warscythe, veil of darkness, resurretion orb) 150pts Troops: 5x Immortals (5x gauss blasters) 85pts Troops: 10x warriors 130pts Troops 10x warriors 130pts FA: 7x tomb blades (7xshield vanes, 1x shadowloom) 141pts FA: 7x tomb blades (7xshield vanes, 1x shadowloom) 141pts FA: 5x tomb blades (5x shield vanes, 1x shadowloom) 101pts Destroyer Cult: HQ: Destroyer Lord (solar staff, resurrection orb) WARLORD 150pts FA: 3x destroyers 120pts FA: 3x destroyers 120pts FA: 3x destroyers 120pts HS: 3x heavy destroyers 150pts Canoptek Harvest: FA: 5x canoptek wraiths 200pts FA: 3x canoptek scarabs 60pts HS: canoptek spyder 50pts Total: 1850pts -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Game#1 Mission: Big guns never tire (5 objectives worth 3VP at the end of the game) Mealstrom: Tactical escalation (1 mealstrom card at the start and more cards in later turns) Table: Dawn of war Opponent: Tau ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Primary Detachment: Hunter Contingent (Tau Empire) HQ1: Commander; iridium, command and control node, multi-spectrum sensor suite, drone controller, puretide engram neurochip, vectored retro thrusters, shield generator, neuroweb system jammer, 2 marker drones [244 pts] WARLORD Elite1: 3 Crisis; 3x 2 plasma rifles [156 pts] Troop 1: 5 Fire Warriors [45 pts] Troop 2: 5 Fire Warriors [45 pts] Troop 3: 5 Fire Warriors [45 pts] FA1: 6 pathfinders [66 pts] FA2: 6 pathfinders [66 pts] HS1: 3 Broadside battlesuits; 3xtl hymp, 3xtl sms, 3x early warning override, 6x marker drone [282 pts] HS2: 3 Broadside battlesuits; 3xtl hymp, 3xtl sms, 3x early warning override, 6x missile drone [282 pts] Drone Network: 4 marker drones [48] Secondary Detachment: Riptide wing (Tau Empire) Elite1: Riptide; ion accelerator, tl sms, early warning override [190 pts] Elite2: Riptide; ion accelerator, tl sms, early warning override [190 pts] Elite3: Riptide; ion accelerator, tl sms, early warning override [190 pts] TOTAL: [1849 pts] ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My opponent deployed first, crisis suits in deepstrike reserves, fire warriors in reserves, broadsides in the middle, all 3 riptides on rigth flank. My deployment: all destroyers in deepstrike (I know he had lots of interceptor, but T5, 3+/4+ is quite solid and I planned to lock him in CC turn 2) I started with immortals and scarabs on tabletop (this was a bait for easy first blood for my opponent, but in this case he would not shoot at my spyder), one warriors camped on objective, lord with warriors in the back, red and green tomb blades on right flank ready to engage with riptides, blue tomb blades on the left ready to meet broadsides, wraiths with d-lord in the center. My warlord trait was rerolls of failed morale, pinning and fear tests, very useful. In this battle I wanted to go first, but failed to seize the initiative. I used solar staff, my opponent shot my tomb blades, two or three died. My turn, full aggression, veil of darkness and my lord with warriors is in front of riptides, shot with rapid fire at pathfinders and scored first blood, tomb blades moved and turbo-boosted in front of riptides and broadsides, scarabs and wraiths moved and ran with protocols, d-lord made long assault move to provide rerolls of morale checks for blue and green tomb blades. Overlord provided rerolls for RP of 1s for green and red tomb blades. Turn 2, his crisis suits tried to deepstrike and kill my spyder, but they mishap. My opponent wanted me to roll for the effect, so I rolled "1" The unit was destroyed. He fired everything at my wraiths, but with 3++/4+ and activated orb I lost only one wound. My turn 2, one destroyers came in (behind LOS blocker) and shot the second pathfinders, forcing them to flee off the table. Blue tomb blades assaulted broadsides, wraiths assaulted second braodsides (wipping them out), red and green tomb blades multi charged all riptides, overlord assaulted one riptide, warriors shot and charged fire warriors (that came from reserves) killing them all. Well I tabled my opponent turn 6 (after turn 5 there was only 1 riptide with 2 or 3 wounds left). I won 20-0 (48:0 in minor points). My captain won 20:0 too, eldar player won 17:3.

Game #2 Mission: Crusade (4 objectives worth 3VP) Mealstrom: Cleanse and control (3 cards per turn) Table: Vanguard strike Opponent: Space Marines with Dark Angels --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Primary Detachment: CAD: White Scars HQ1: Captain, chapter master, artificer armour, bike, power fist, storm shield, auspex [215 pts][Warlord] HQ2: Librarian, force axe, the hunter's aye, auspex [90 pts] Troop1: Tactical Squad x 5, Melta gun [80 pts] (transport 1) Troop2: Tactical Squad x 5, Melta gun [80 pts] (transport 2) FA1: Drop Pod [35 pts] FA2: Drop Pod [35 pts] FA3: Drop Pod [35 pts] HS1: Centurion Devastator Squad: 3xCenturion, 3xGrav-cannon and grav-amp, Omniscope, 3xHurricane Bolter [250] HS2: Centurion Devastator Squad: 3xCenturion, 3xGrav-cannon and grav-amp, Omniscope, 3xHurricane Bolter [250] HS3: Centurion Devastator Squad: 3xCenturion, 3xGrav-cannon and grav-amp, Omniscope, 3xHurricane Bolter [250] Transport1: Drop Pod [35 pts] (Troop1) Transport2: Drop Pod [35 pts] (Troop2) Detachment 2: Allied: Dark Angels HQ1: Librarian force axe, auspex, [70] Troop1: Tactical Squad x 5, Melta gun, melta bomb [85 pts] (transp 1) Elite1: Ravenwing Command Squad x 4, aphotecary[190 pts] FA1: Darkshroud[80 pts] Transport1: Drop Pod [35 pts] (Troop1) TOTAL: [1850 pts] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I deployed first, one warriors in front, second at the back, tomb blades in the middle, wraiths with d-lord on the right flank, everything spread to limit his drop pod assault turn 1. I put immortals, scarabs and all destroyers in reserves. Spyder behind LOS blocker. I forced my opponent to go first. He managed to land his drop pod in my deployment zone and killed spyder for first blood (my mistake), rest of centurions shot my tomb blades I lost a couple. My turn, I used warriors and tomb blades to surround his centurions to deny his hit and run and assaulted with wraiths, I inflicted 3 wounds, he passed morale and failed his HnR. Warriors and tomb blades shot centurions and I killed one and put 2 wounds on others. His turn 2, all objective secured drop pods with marines landed on key objectives, I inflicted 5 rending wounds with wraith in CC and killed the squad. My turn 2 all reserves arrived apart from heavy destroyers. Immortals and scarabs entered the game near objective 1, scarabs were about to assault enemy drop pod next turn. Destroyers deepstroke near drop pods and shot the marines. Immortals rapid fired and finished off marines near objective 1. Overlord assaulted and destroyed centurion drop pod in my deployment zone (kill point and deny the line breaker). Wraiths assaulted 1 remaining marine and drop pod near objective 2 and killed/destroyed everything, in shooting I killed another centurion and put a wound on second squad. I got 4VP from mealstroms this turn. My opponent multi charged my destroyers, immortlas and scarabs (he rolled 10" for charge range ) with his command squad. So I knew that objective 1 would be his and that drop pod will score first blood. Centurions killed 2 wraiths in shooting phase. My turn 3. Heavy destroyers deepstroke at his back and instakill librarian with hunter's eye along with one centurion. Veil of darkness and my overlord with warriors appeared in enemy deployment zone near objective 3. Rapid fire took care of remaining marines. Destroyers gunned down centurion. There were only two left (as 1 unit) and I tried to charge them with wraiths but failed it, even with fleet (d-lord joined destroyers). Turn 4, my opponent chraged heavy destroyers (another long charge) but they survived, centurions killed my wraiths in shooting . In my turn 4 I charged and killed obsec drop pod near objective 3 with warscythe, tomb blades turboboosted on objective 4, Turn 5 his warlord assaulted my overlord, centurions moved towards objective 4, he killed my heavy destroyers in sweeping advance. My turn 5, I shot down one centurion with tomb blades. At the end we are tied at mealstroms I lead in KPs and I control 2 objectives, so I'm winning. Unfotunately there was turn 6, he managed to contest one objective with centurions, killed my overlord and warriors in CC (he tied up on kill points) and scored 2 VP in mealstroms. In my turn I tried to kill centurion with one wound, but he saved everything this time. I lost this game by one point 9:11 the final score. Our captain lost against necrons 7:13 and our eldar player lost 0:20.

Game #3 Mission: Emperor's will (2 objectives worth 4VP) Mealstrom: Contact lost (as many cards as controlled objectives) Table: Hammer and anvil Opponent: Eldars -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Primary Detachment: Craftworld Warhost (Codex Eldar : Craftworlds) >Windrider Host HQ1 : Farseer Skyrunner (Spirit Stone of Anath'Alan, Singing Spear) [135] [WARLORD] HQ2 : Warlock Skyrunner [50] Troop1 : 3x Windrider Jetbike (3x Scatter laser) [81] Troop2 : 3x Windrider Jetbike (3x Scatter laser) [81] Troop3 : 3x Windrider Jetbike (2x Scatter laser) [71] Fast attack1 : Vyper [40] >WraithBone Construct Fast attack1 : Hemlock Wraithfighter [185] >WraithBone Construct Fast attack1 : Hemlock Wraithfighter [185] >WraithBone Construct Lord of War1: Wraithknight (1x Scatter laser) [310] >Aspect Host (Rites of Battle +1 Ballistic Skill) Fast attack1: 5 Warp Spiders (Exarch) [105] Fast attack2: 5 Warp Spiders (Exarch) [105] Fast attack3: 5 Warp Spiders (Exarch) [105] >Aspect Host (Rites of Battle +1 Ballistic Skill) Fast attack1: 5 Warp Spiders (Exarch) [105] Fast attack2: 5 Warp Spiders (Exarch) [105] Fast attack3: 5 Swooping Hawks (Exarch) [90] >Heroes of the Craftworld HQ1 : Autarch Skrunner (Laser lance) [95] TOTAL ARMY POINTS: 1848pts ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here I deployed first, spyder and scarabs behind LOS blocker, wraiths with d-lord in the middle, warriors in front, immortals behind second LOS blocker on EW objective, TB near my deployment line. All destroyers in reserves (I had +1 to reserves as WL trait). My opponent placed WK at the very back. I was about to go second, but without WK being the threat I decided to play aggressively just like against Tau, so I decided to go first. Veil of darkness (overlord with warriors) I was hoping for easy first blood as he placed warlock on the table, but I scatter off badly and returned into reserves, no rerolls of 1s for RP neither Tomb blades turbo-boosted near bikes and warp spider (he started with 3 bikes, one with farseer and a unit of warp spiders). His turn 1 WK killed one of my wraiths, bikes and spiders killed couple of my tomb blades. He also hid away his warlock. My turn 2, I controlled 4 objectves, did some mealstroms, overlord unit returned and rolled 1 for running, great. Heavy destroyers stayed in reserves, one destroyer unit mishap and returned to reserves. Wraiths advanced, scarabs ran into cover to grab objective, Tomb blades assaulted jetbikes. Enemy turn 2, I used solar staff (against hemlocks). He dropped with everything, two hemlocks killed overlord and his unit - first blood for the opponent, but he had no objectives, everything was mine or contested. WK charged tomb blades that were in CC with jetbikes and farseer. Warp spiders that landed in my deployment zone shot spyder, but he survived with all 3 wounds I lost one immortal. My turn 3 heavy destroyers destroyed vyper, 2 destroyer units killed swooping hawks, third destroyers killed warp spiders in the oppen, scarabs charged and killed second warp spides, spyder charged spiders killed 3 guys and they failed HnR. Wraiths charged jetbikes that stood in CC with tomb blades. Enemy turn 3 (still no obective cards), autarch turbo-boosted into my deployment zone, ready to attack my spyder next turn, hemlocks shot at tomb blades and second warriors, he loses all jetbikes in CC. Later I charged WK with wraiths, tried to hurt hemlocks with tomb blades. I had pts advantage in mealstroms, KPs and contested my EW objetive and controlled enemy EW, however, my opponent managed to kill all of my immortals and took that ojbective and his WK killed everything in CC in my turn and in his, he shot down two destroyers with wraithcannons, shot and assaulted tomb blades and seized control of both EW. There were no turn 6, I lost this game 8:12. Both teammates lost thier games 0:20.

Game #4 Mission: Relict (2 relicts in the middle 12" from each other worth 5VP each) Mealstrom: Spoils of War Table: Dawn of War Opponent: Necrons ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Necron Decurion Detachment, Reclamation Legion: HQ1: Zahndrekh [150] Warlord Troop1: Immortals [85pts] Troop2: Warriors [130pts] Troop3: Warriors [130pts] Fast1: 3x Tomb Blades(54),TL gauss blaster(0) Canoptek Harvest 1 FA1: Canoptek Scarabs [60pts] FA2: Canoptek Wraiths (120), 2 additional Wraiths (80) 5xCoile (15)[215pts] HS1: Canoptek Spyder [50pts] Canoptek Harvest 2 FA1: Canoptek Scarabs [60pts] FA2: Canoptek Wraiths (120), 2 additional Wraiths (80) 5xCoile (15) [215pts] HS1: Canoptek Spyder [50pts] Canoptek Harvest 3 FA1: Canoptek Scarabs [60pts] FA2: Canoptek Wraiths (120), 2 additional Wraiths (80) 5xCoile (15) [215pts] HS1: Canoptek Spyder [50pts] Canoptek Harvest 4 FA1: Canoptek Scarabs [60pts] FA2: Canoptek Wraiths (120), 2 additional Wraiths (80) 5xCoile (15) [215pts] HS1: Canoptek Spyder [50pts] TOTAL ARMY POINTS: 1849pts ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ So as You can see I was paired against 4 harvests. I stood little chance against such army. Well, I got rerolls of morale within 12" of the warlord. So, my plan was to go first, claim relicts with tomb blades, turbo-boost away with them and screen with rest of my army, so I could lock his harvests in CC and hope everything ends in turn 5. I won the roll-off for deployment and deployed first. D-lord with warriors on the right flank (rerolls of morale), overlord with wraiths on the left flank. Tomb blades 12" away from relicts, destroyers nearby ready to screen. My opponent failed to seize the initiative, so I executed my plan. Tomb blades jumped for relicts and turbo-boosted towards my left side (my opponent made this a little easy for me as he concentrated his harvests on my right side) destroyers killed 2 wraiths in shooting and screen tomb blades with assault move. Wraiths moved towards the center. I knew I would lost in kill points and mealstroms as he controlled almost entire board. Maelstroms were spoils of war so I didn't discard any non secure"x" like blood and guts or hungry for glory. He could not steal my objectives in this way. My opponent fell to my plan and assaulted my screen with all his wraiths. That was a mistake. He should have left 1 or 2 squads of wraiths to go for my tomb blades. Also he played very passively with his scarabs. My turn 2, I assaulted two of his wraiths units with my wraiths and overlord with orb. D-lord with warriors moved forward and assaulted rest of the wraiths. My tomb blades were moving 12" per turn into my rigth corner. Later scarabs moved north killed enemy scarabs and claimed line breaker. The middle of the board were fighting, at some point I used orbs to survive these fierce combats. I passed one relict to destroyers and screen them with tomb blades, so enemy tomb blades could not turbo-boost and contests. Second tomb blades kept relict near table edge and spread, I also got a unit of warriors to screen them. My opponent engeged spyders and zandrek with warriors into combat. On my turn 4 he killed my warlord and warriors and freed up two units of wraiths. One consolidated 6" and assaulted my spyder next turn, but I survived with final wound left. Second wraiths assaulted my wraiths. My turn 5, my warriors charged wraith, the one engaged with my spyder. All my units survived the combats. His 10 warriors rapid fired my last immortal, then they assaulted him, he survived, hit back, inflicted the wound and caugth them in sweeping advance There were no turn 6. My opponent got first blood, slay the warlord, line breaker, had more kill points and lead in mealstroms. I got line breaker and 10pts for both relicts. 10:10 the final score. I managed to tie the game and this was not easy. My captain won 15:5 and our eldar firend lost 0:20.

Game #5 Mission: Scouring (every objective is worth 2VP at the end) Mealstroms: cloak and shadows Table: Vanguard strike Opponent: Space Marines+Dark Angels+Space Wolves -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Primary Detachment: Ravenwing Strike Force, Dark Angels Codex HQ 1: (1) Sammael [200 pts] [Warlord] EL 1: (4) Ravenwig Command Squad, 1x Additional Ravenwing Biker, Apothecary upgrade, 1x Ravenwing Grenade Launcher, [190 pts] FA 1: (1) Ravenwing Darkshroud [80 pts] FA 2: (1) Ravenwing Darkshroud [80 pts] Detachment 2: Champions of Fenris Company of the Great Wolf Detachment HQ 1: (2) Wolf Guard Battle Leader, Thunder Wolf, Runic Armour, Storm Shield, Power Fist, 2x Fenrisian Wolf – [181 pts] EL 1: (1) Iron Priest, Thunder Wolf, [105 pts] EL 2: (2) Iron Priest, Thunder Wolf, 1x Cyberwolves [120 pts] EL 3: (4) Iron Priest, Thunder Wolf, 3x Cyberwolves [150 pts] FA 1: (5) Fenrisian Wolf [40 pts] Detachment 3: Formation: Librarius Conclave; Chapter Tactics: Iron Hands HQ 1: (1) Librarius, lvl 2, bike, Force Axe [110 pts] HQ 2: (1) Librarius, lvl 2, bike, Force Axe [110 pts] HQ 3: (1) Librarius, lvl 2, bike, Force Axe [110 pts] Detachment 4: Kauyon Formation: Stormbringer Squadron, Chapter Tactics: Black Templars FA 1: (1) Land Speeder, Multi-Melta [55 pts] TR1: (5) Scout Squad, Close Combat Weapon [55 pts] Transport 1 TR2: (5) Scout Squad, Close Combat Weapon [55 pts] Transport 2 TR3: (5) Scout Squad, Close Combat Weapon [55 pts] Transport 3 Transport 1 – Land Speeder Storm, Multi-Melta [50 pts] Transport 2 – Land Speeder Storm, Multi-Melta [50 pts] Transport 3 – Land Speeder Storm, Multi-Melta [50 pts] TOTAL: 1846 pts --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MY second opponent's army was so called wolfstar. Another CC army that I didn't want to play against All ICs form one big unit that has 2+/2+ cover, they cast powers on 2+ have tons of S9AP2 attacks, rendings, some force weapons, 2+ save, 3++ and fnp and of course they can hit and run. Sammael adds +3 to charge move. This mission also awarded VP for destroyed Fast Attacks and I had like 9 of those. The only chance to beat this army was to provoke the charge on wraiths (with 3++/4+ and possble orb rerolls they should survive no problem) and surround his wolfstar with tomb blades to block his hit and run. In this case I can lock his big dangerous unit and do mealstroms with destroyers. I deployed second and was forced to go first. I placed wraith in front of LOS blocker (this piece of terrain was natural HnR blocker). Spyder was behind this LOS blocker on objective I backed my destroyers behind wraiths and kept warriors on left and right side. My tomb blades turbo-boosted to be away from enemy charge range. My opponent didn't want to assault my wraiths, he knew the trick he started killing my "left" warriors instead. I did some mealstroms with tomb blades, my immortals arrived from reserves very far away from wraiths. Wolfstar killed my heavy destroyers, that previously were shooting his land speeder. I managed to kill his land speeder with destroyers (fast attack) and tomb blades wrecked speeder storm and assaulted and killed scouts. My opponent devided his wolf star unit, sammael, wolf lord and something else went for immortals (they survived one turn of combat) rest of wolf star managed to charge and kill my tomb blades. My turn, I killed his fenrisian wolves (another fast attack), move wraiths towards the center and did ascendency and supremacy. Turn 4 my opponent combined the wolfstar again and killed my second tomb blades in CC. My turn 5 I used veil of darkness (overlord and destroyer) to contest objective 1 and wrecked land speeder storm, screen spyder with scarabs to secure objective 4, warriors spread around objective 3, wraiths assaulted and destroyed dark shroud (another fast attack) and controlled objective 2, d-lord with tomb blades spread on objective 5. My opponent turn 5 (the last one as time was running out) he used his obsec units to secure objectives 2 and 1, dark shroud moved flat-out to grab objective 6 (he gave up line breaker here) and wolf star unit with prescience and force assaulted my warlord with tomb blades. I had zealot from warlord traits so I preformed "Horacio a the bridge". I used resurrection orb and withstand tons of attacks like HoW, fenrisian wolves attacks, rending attacks from corvus hammers, iron priests thunder hammers, power fist, sammael SP2 sword and force axes with ID from conclave. I contested objective 5 and my opponent was shocked that I didn't die I won with mealstroms, got line breaker, 4VP from objectives, 3 VP for Fast attacks. My opponent had first blood, 6VP from objectives, 2VP for fast attack and we tied in KPs. I won 11:9. Our captain lost 0:20 and eldar player lost 1:19. This was my first grand tournament ever and I'm pretty satisfied with my games. They were all very challenging and exciting. I managed to score 58pts (out of 100 possible) and was the best player in my team. The list I was playing was solid, I missed nebuloscopes sometimes, but tomb blades needed their numbers, too. Phase shifter on overlord wold be nice. Orbs were great. Even one harvest can be very powerful, especially with solar staff, preferred enemy and orb rerolls. Heavy destroyers did little, but I was not paired with IKs even once. Destrocult is very useful. Overall we were 15th out of 16 team. Not very impressive, I know, but we had a very good time and met some fine wh40k players No player had tyranids as pure army. There were only 2 armies that used Tyranid detachments, one with daemons and second with necrons. Thanks for reading

The fact that there were no 'nids shows the current state of things. Glad you had a good time, seems like a ton of fun.

Reading this was a blast. Exciting and wonderful, at how you can play at such a high level and keep notes like these. Good on you.
How much do you and your team mates practice? Did they have hard match-ups to counter their lists, or were they more ... in my league (friendly-competitive).
Sad to hear about the Nid showing, were all other armies decently represented?

Reading this was a blast. Exciting and wonderful, at how you can play at such a high level and keep notes like these. Good on you. How much do you and your team mates practice? Did they have hard match-ups to counter their lists, or were they more ... in my league (friendly-competitive). Sad to hear about the Nid showing, were all other armies decently represented? I'm glad You liked it Luckily my memory is still operational, so I don't have much problems with remembering my battles (I wrote these batreps week after the event). In fact knowing Your battles, analyzing them is a very effective way to improve Your gaming skills. I find battle reports very useful. To be honest my general strategy for games: 4th and 5th came from other players' batreps I had read before That's why I like writing some myself Our eldar girl (yes, we had female player in our team) is a beginner player, so that's the reason why she lost almost every game (she's won against sisters of battle though). Our captain plays longer than me, but he changed his list right before the tournamnet (he didn't managed to paint all his models on time). He was supposed to be a "champion" player and we were counter-lists (eldars against CC lists, my necrons against shooty lists). Because of this unexpected change I was a "champion" twice and eldars were "champion" 4 times, so the general pairing strategy was disrupted. I think that changing the army in last minute was the reason why our captain lost 0:20 twice. As for me, I was kind of surprised by my results I didn't expect myself to play such good, close games. Overall we didn't fight for top spots, so we all had a great time As for other armies, I think all teams had eldar army in their lineup, necrons were popular, podded centurions, there were some companies, wolfstars are popular in Poland (SW+DA), there was war convocation army, orks allied with eldars, sisters of battle. Tau was also commonly seen, IKs were often a choice for "champion" army.

Good to hear some female showings, even if she beat Sororitas (my 2nd army). Also sounds like your eldar mate changed up his list considerably, but all good if you all had a great time. Do you all club together? Having regular players and active communities (IRL) is great too. Sorry if you posted above, but who ended up winning overall?

Both me and our captain live and play in Warsaw so we know each other and he managed to beat me couple of times. Our eldar friend lives in Cracow, so I haven't even played with her. She had some GTs already under her belt and she used to play harlequins. Eldars were a new army to her. If You play SoB I guess I can post the list ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Primary Detachment: CAD (Adepta Sororitas) HQ1: Canoness, Warlord, combi-plasma [75 pts] HQ1a: Sororitas Command Squad, dialogus, 4x meltagun in transport 1 [110 pts] Troop1: 5 Battle Sisters, 1x meltagun, 1x heavy flamer, 1x combi-plasma in transport 2 [90 pts] Troop2: 5 Battle Sisters, 1x meltagun, 1x heavy flamer, 1x combi-plasma in transport 3 [90 pts] Troop3: 5 Battle Sisters, 1x meltagun, 1x heavy flamer, 1x combi-plasma in transport 4 [90 pts] FA1: 5 Dominions, 4x meltagun, combi-plasma in transport 5 [115 pts] FA2: 5 Dominions, 4x meltagun, combi-plasma [115 pts] FA3: 5 Dominions, 4x meltagun, combi-plasma [115 pts] HS1: Exorcist [125 pts] HS2: Exorcist [125 pts] HS3: Exorcist [125 pts] Transport1: Immolator, twin-linked multi-melta, HQ1a [60 pts] Transport2: Sororitas Rhino, Troop1 [40 pts] Transport3: Sororitas Rhino, Troop2 [40 pts] Transport4: Sororitas Rhino, Troop3 [40 pts] Transport5: Immolator, twin-linked multi-melta, FA1 [60 pts] Secondary Detachment: Flesh Tearers Strike Force (Blood Angels) HQ1: Librarian, 2lvl psyker, force sword, combi-melta [100 pts] Troop1: 5 Tacticals, meltagun, combi-melta in transport 1 [90 pts] FA1: Drop Pod [35 pts] FA2: Drop Pod [35 pts] FA3: Drop Pod [35 pts] FA4: Drop Pod [35 pts] FA5: Drop Pod [35 pts] FA6: Drop Pod [35 pts] Transport1: Drop Pod [35 pts] TOTAL: [1850 pts] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As for winners (all ETC players): 1st place eldars, necrons, space marines 2nd place necrons, eldars, wolfstar with sisters of battle 3rd place tyranids+tau, necrons+white scars, eldars So there were tyranids in top 3 afterall I must have missed that He used 3 flyrants, 3 mucolids, venomthrope and 2x lictor
