360 Photo rotation of a flying thing

Ok so its not painted (barring undercoat) and its not a nid so I thought I'd show of.......hide it down here



It's a Relthoza Vaxiss Ground Attack Leviathan from Spartan Games Planetfall


Considering I just turned the model for each shot on the flight peg and that you can't see the dinning room full of junk behind it means it came out better than I'd hoped! Might have messed with different light angles if I'd had room to or had a third light for a bit of overhead; but otherwise pretty good for a first attempt.

That's cool, what size is the model? Nice photo /spiny image too.

It's:
5 inches tall (from flight stand base to wing tips)
8 inches wide (from wing tip to wing tip)
4 inches long (from head to tail)

Which means its body is about the size of a carnifex, but less bulky whilst the wings add quite a bit to its overall size. As you can see from the above though, the wing join area is very small for those wings; I was going to use a magnet but decided that it wasn't too big to transport, whilst at the same time the join area was just too small for effective magnet use.

Scroll about half way down you can see how the wings look and the join area. I could have pinned it with magnets, but they sit at right angles to the core of the model so all the weight is going right down off the join area. I just felt that even with a pin to hold them steady they'd be "iffy" things to have on magnets and more apt to falling off or getting knocked off.

I did pin them though - bone-pinned them - because even with the glue that join area just wasn't going to be strong enough.
